Good morning.
There's going to be an expansion team in the NHL in Seattle starting in the 2021-22 season. They announced yesterday that the team will be called the Seattle Kraken. Think of the marketing possibilities. The arena can be called the Krak House, fans will be Krak Heads.
There was a discussion about this on the Rivals.com sports message board yesterday. As a "Frasier" TV show fan, I called for them to name the team the
Fightin' Cranes as an ode to Frasier, Niles & Marty! Those of you who know the show will get it.....
There was a team called the Seattle Metropolitans 100 years ago, they were the first U.S.-based team to win the Stanley Cup. I read somewhere, it may have been ESPN but I'm not sure, that the league "strongly discouraged" the team owners from calling them the Metropolitans. One of the 4 divisions in the NHL is the Metropolitan Division and they were worried about people being confused.
A lot of people were lobbying for "Seattle Sockeyes" but others pointed out that Sharks (San Jose) and Orcas (Vancouver Canucks) eat sockeye. I was rooting for the "Seattle Totems" who were in the Western Hockey League between 1944 and 1974. I guess the younger crowd like "Kraken". Youth is wasted on the young....

Very easy....drive towards Moogy....when you get close to him, turn right. Go straight until you hit Larry, then turn South West. Follow that until you hit CNF, then turn Left. When you hit water, make a left. Go 7 miles then turn left again and go North for 3/4 of mile. My house is the at the back of the court with the circular drive.
What time should i expect you?

If you get to my place, you've gone to far.

I love it on the weather channel when the report is bending over as to so that he can stand still because it is so windy, and little kid runs behind them chasing a butterfly.....the dude reporting from Texas was just doing such, and explaining how the beaches are now closed due to rough surf. Some little kid ran by playing in the waves....

Hi there! I had a harrowing drive for 23 miles in the fog, so thick I was afraid of missing the road. Several oncoming vehicles didn't have on lights. Grrrrrr.
The sun broke out while I fished and it was a bee yoo tee ful day.

Wife has a bottle of this on the bar
Capture.JPG
It is not beer, but the bottle looks nice.
A girl after my own heart. There will be a shot or 2 of Cabo Wabo had this evening. I keep mine in the freezer.
that bottle has probably been sitting there for months. Neither one of us touch it.
The only thing she drinks (besides wine, and a beer here and there) is Pilar. Not sure exactly what it is, but it has a nice looking bottle also.
There was a power outage where Bryan works do he was sent home at 11:30. He cut the grass and had a margarita and a shot of Cabo Wabo waiting for me when I got home! He also made shredded Mexican chicken for burritos for dinner

. He's a keeper! I'll be working tomorrow so I'm relaxing as much as I can this evening

Some idiots are releasing sky lanterns. They need to be banned. All they do is harm animals. They have to land somewhere.

As i have mentioned previously, wife and I have a group of friends which we alternate Friday evening Happy Hours with. Due to the storms in the area, tonight's was cut a tad short. We waited out the passing storm tonight before leaving, but caught this photo on the way home.

E is watching the Cardinals online. The TV's have the Rockies, no sound cause I don't need the piped sound. The cut out people make me laugh. Baseball is good to see again.
