The Washington Football Team is going to continue calling itself that at least through next season. Tony Kornheiser on ESPN said they should call the team Washington Team Football so it could be abbreviated as WTF.

The Jests lost again making them 0-8. They're halfway to winning the Tanking For Trevor Sweepstakes but there are still 3 teams with only one win and a few others with two. In typical Jests fashion, they still have time to screw things up.

I don't understand why Gase is still employed.

I didn't watch the game last night but from what I read online it was another one they easily could have won. Daniel Jones is a turnover machine.

Of course everybody would say the Giants have NO chance of doing anything if they make the playoffs which of course is true.
But think about this, as a player of a division winner you receive a $31,000 bonus no matter what. Regardless of this being the era of millionaires/multi-millionaires in the NFL still not a bad bit of pocket change to pay on your Christmas Holiday bills eh?

It's not the money, although this team does have a lot of guys on rookie contracts and that bonus would surely be appreciated.

It's that in the current NFC East the Giants could still stumble their way into the playoffs and bring it home. It's happened before. LOL And as division winners they would get a home playoff game? Even better.

The Jests had me worried, they were winning with less than a minute left in the game. But they didn't let me down, 0-12 and still leading in the Tanking For Trevor Sweepstakes.

Jag fans were probably thinking the same thing after bolting out to 16-6 lead & then later getting to OT vs. Vikings yesterday.
Making the "Jests" earn it for TFT

I read that Trevor might stay in school another year rather than enter the draft.

Meanwhile, G-men sit atop the NFC East. :P

Trevor Lawrence is a junior but I read somewhere he's on track to graduate this year. If it was me, I'd take the money. The #1 pick in the NFL draft will get many millions of dollars. If he goes back to school he takes the risk of getting injured. He's 33-1 as a starting quarterback and the one game he lost was last year's national championship game against LSU. Take the money and run.

He could always go the Eli Manning & John Elway route & demand not to be drafted by Jets..............

Former NY Giants and University of Alabama coach Ray Perkins died today, he was 79. He preceded Bill Parcells as Giants coach and followed Bear Bryant at Alabama.
