Evening, peeps. Made progress on decorating, more tomorrow.

Lamb shanks are in the slow cooker. Potatoes are mashed with sour cream. We have a snow storm due in tomorrow. I thought it was supposed to be Sunday but it hits tomorrow, we're in the 6-12" section. Woot-woot! Kid sister and her husband are inbound. Blizzard slumber party!

TGIF y'all.

I always think of you & GW when someone talks about lamb. That might have been the year I got my NB nickname
Hope your sis & BIL make it in before it gets bad. Enjoy your blizzard slumber party - that sounds super fun!

I like potatoes, just not mashed. Maybe it's the texture.

Yeah, I get the texture thing. There's a lot of foods that I like the flavor of, but not the texture.

Watching DU (Denver University) hockey against North Dakota - we used to go to these games just cause we love hockey. The ND fans are some of the rudest I've ever encountered. It's tied 3-3 in OT. I'm off to the couch to watch the rest of the game.

Goodnight and sleep sweet. :)

I don't think I have ever had lamb but I love mashed potatoes and sour cream.
However, I do understand food textures. The reason I don't eat seafood and mushrooms.

liquor store has kegs for sale? Now there's a concept you won't find in Pennsylvania. SIGH.
There's a liquor store in Pawleys Island, about 12-13 miles south of here, that has a pretty good craft beer selection. They have kegs but I don't think that's very common in the Myrtle Beach area. They have another location in MB that sells beer but only cans and bottles, no kegs or even growlers.
We would be OK driving an extra 12-13 miles south of Myrtle Beach when/if we move there :)

I don't care for fruitcake myself but do buy them as Christmas gifts for those that I know do, and get them from my father to support the Shriners.

I always bring down lamb kabobs to grill at the tailgates. Here's to hoping I can do that again in 2021.
