I finished one of the wreaths. I had planned to put them on kitchen cabinet doors. Just discovered I can't reach the top of the doors. Really bad planning.
Now I have ro wait for Ryan to help. If I used a ladder and fell off, the guys would never forgive me. I don't need another cast at Christmas.

A chair wouldn't get you up far enough?
It's probably better to wait for Ryan anyway.

I have a step stool but don't want to risk it. My balance is gotten bad .

I didn't waste the whole day. We had breakfast and lunch out. I painted the sky on a 1x2 foot canvas that will be for my great niece's Christmas gift. I started more beach scenes because I poured out too much paint.

It's tough to get the paint back in the tubes.

I rarely drink liquor anymore but I've loved my beer since I lived on Long Island. And when I was young (that's right, I said "when I was young"), the drinking age in NY was 18.

This was one reason I was allowed to drink at concerts.....because back in the day for a few BN'ers legal drinking age was 18

Thanks, Molly. I feel like a slacker these days. It's too easy to go fishing. I was a pretty good water color artist and wood carver last century. Most work now is for parrotheads.

Coastal Carolina beat Brigham Young. Coastal was the preseason pick to finish last in their conference, they're 10-0 (I thought they were 8-0 coming into today's game but they were 9-0). They were ranked #18 in the country and BYU was #13, Coastal has to move up at least a couple of spots next week. They have 2 games left, then their conference championship game. Unless they completely fall apart, they should get an invitation to one of the New Year's Day Bowl games. One of the local TV stations had 4 reporters on campus yesterday doing stories on today's game. If they get a big bowl game, I wonder how many local reporters will be covering it?

Coastal has a great team name, the Chanticleers. Their colors are teal and black, the artificial turf on their home field is teal instead of green. I have a teal Myrtle Beach Pelicans jersey from when they did a CCU night 4 years ago after Coastal's baseball team won the College World Series.

Was a really good day. Mom was really surprised to see all four of us at the window today. (Me, E, sister, and BIL) I showed her a bunch of photos on my phone, again. And it made her happy. We had her giggling a lot.

Stop at Chik Fil A for lunch. Washed E's car. Grocery shopping, and washed bedding on the bed. Then I moved the furniture where the Christmas tree will be set up tomorrow.

Brats and Polish sausage on the grill. It's very warm weather for us in December.

DU hockey on again. Close game, but they're losing bye ONE again.

I got new wireless keyboard delivered today, and it's great. ( Spilled some water - first time ever - on my keyboard earlier in the week and few buttons no longer worked). NICE easy touch keyboard.

Off to put my feet up and sleep soonly. You all sleep well.
