Evening, peeps.
Sunny and cold but roads are clear and everything is sparkling white. We ran errands and picked up our tree this afternoon.
Now, Mr. Lime is prepping dinner and we're watching Clemson v Notre Dame.
Happy birthday, Steve!

Worked today, the huge wedding that my boss worked on for the past few days and went to the reception venue and had completely set up was told by the photographer that the wedding was cancelled. She thought he was busting her balls until she saw the mother of the brides face....2500.00 for flowers alone....not to mention the venue and catering....not to mention that we could have used her designing skills for the past few days....
We recorded the Big 10 Championship game and now we're watching, my feet are up and I have a margarita.
The two local daughters are coming for a ham dinner tomorrow which was supposed to be our Christmas with the grandkids....
The only thing that will save this day is for my Buckeyes to beat Northwestern.

Wow! Did they pay up front? A friend's shop went out of business 30 years ago, partially from the wealthiest in town not paying their bills.melon59 wrote: ↑December 19, 2020 5:09 pm Worked today, the huge wedding that my boss worked on for the past few days and went to the reception venue and had completely set up was told by the photographer that the wedding was cancelled. Re: Jingle Bells SATURDAY@ the MSC
The brides family has been long time customer's, we did all of the proms, homecoming's, siblings weddings and this wedding was supposed to be in Columbus. Planned a year ago, had been downsized twice to the 2500.00 amount. They were going to have the paid for reception dinner to feed the out of town guests. Usually, we have to have full payment 2 weeks out so we can order the product. Not sure if this was paid in full or not.bodypainter wrote: ↑December 19, 2020 5:56 pmWow! Did they pay up front? Cancelled wedding???? As in not ever going to happen??? We had four wedding invites for 2020. 2 went through - both outdoor ceremonies and receptions. Other 2 have been reached to 2021.melon59 wrote: ↑December 19, 2020 5:09 pm Worked today, the huge wedding that my boss worked on for the past few days and went to the reception venue and had completely set up was told by the photographer that the wedding was cancelled. Re: Jingle Bells SATURDAY@ the MSC
The bride opted to keep the ones that were for the reception for the dinner they were going through with tonight for the family and out of town guests....we had actually run out of red roses which was what were going to be at the church so those were brought back to the shop to be used for orders. Unfortunately there were 16 pine wreaths at the reception venue which had a total of 75 red roses and salal that had been sprayed gold. The 75 roses came in at 60cm and had been cut off to 2-3 inches for the wreaths and were basically useless to us.springparrot wrote: ↑December 19, 2020 6:14 pmWow. Re: Jingle Bells SATURDAY@ the MSC
As in never going to happen. The groom called it off. He actually came into the shop yesterday to pick up table arrangements for the rehearsal dinner last night. The mother of the groom was being consoled by someone at the venue. The mother of the bride looked like she was going to be sick. And the photographer had been taking pics since around 12:30....Saltx3 wrote: ↑December 19, 2020 6:21 pmCancelled wedding???? As in not ever going to happen??? Good Evening BN!
It's less than 5 hours to Midnight & I'm STILL Not Famous Yet
Buzzed around today, picking up some Christmas gifts for the son & son in law at a Sausage & Jerky place nearby.
Still need to grab a couple small things for the Granddaughters. Maybe I'll venture out tonight
Looks like Clemson acting some revenge on the Irish tonight. Imagine the final 4 is pretty well set with Bama, Clemson, O$U & ND unless they get dropped back & Texas A&M gets in. Tune in tomorrow at noon to find out for sure!
