Good afternoon folks!
Doing inside stuff. Again. But, I’m trying to keep up with my daily 10,000 steps which is difficult when it’s a feels like 27 outside. But it does make me walk faster.

How about a warm June or July day for heaven sakes??
Subtract 3 degrees F for every 1000 feet higher than the ground.

I've never been in a hot air balloon....I'd like to try it but Bryan is afraid if heights...as a kid at the neighborhood public pool he was at the top of the ladder for the high dive, slipped, fell and hit the concrete. Not a fan of heights since then and now he has vertigo so that complicates things.
I worked today prepping for the 2 10:00 Funerals on Monday. Bryan stopped by to bring me and my boss some lunch and we drafted him into delivery service.
He made a delivery that was on the way back to our house. He was offered a 2.00 tip which he turned down.

Hi there! We took down most of the Christmas light displays today. I had my car window down as I trailered displays to storage. It was only 36, but with the sun out, it was a sweet day.

Evening, peeps.
Never been up in a balloon but I definitely would. Warm weather is always nice, but I bet an autumn foliage tour would be amazing. Linda, isn't there one out 78 somewhere in NJ every summer, maybe Readington area? Even if you don't go up in one I would go just to watch the whole thing.
Crisp and clear 32* in Limeville tonight. We spent all day de-decorating and cleaning. Now we're sprucing up and treating ourselves to dinner at a little Italian restaurant. The food is wonderful and it is right at the end of our street so we can just walk there. Wine will be imbibed.

I’m not sure about a festival near 78 in NJ. A little town close to us called Strasburg hosted a hot air balloon festival for years. We never went but we enjoyed watching all of them suspended in air.

Soooo, today I got my first of two vaccine injections. I actually didn't want to. But I did for 3 reasons:
1) My employer (LTAC hospital) 'strongly encouraged' everyone to get one.
2) We love to travel. I wouldn't be surprised if the airlines say you can't get on a flight without a vaccine.
3) If the Memory Care facility where my Mom lives says we can't visit inside without a vaccine.
But - so far so good. Not sure of long term affects. But today I'm okay.

Oh, and for those who remember my brother Dan. Today he would have been 70. Can't believe he's been gone 18 years.

My middle daughter who is an RN but has been "redeployed" and has been working at home, got the first phase a few days ago. And so far no side effects. With her luck, if anyone is going to have bad results it will be her!

Morning Molly! I've been to the Albuquerque balloon Fest, many years ago. It was amazing!!
I've always wanted to go to that but haven't made it...yet.
I love all the colors & would definitely go up in one if I had the chance!

I've never been in a hot air balloon and I don't think I've ever seen one either. I have seen the Goodyear blimp several times, and the Met Life Snoopy blimp.

We loved those blimps as kids and saw them frequently. And if the people in the basket waved back we just went crazy.
