Greetings from Isolation!

This morning Mrs Rabz woke up with a runny nose and scratchy throat as well. She has toddled off for a test as we speak.

Which means that when my result comes back, even if it is negative we remain in isolation until her results come back...

I guess we are lucky in that we have world class medical facilities so we can get tested and cared for. It does make me think of our friends in other countries, especially in the Pacific, where if it gets going there it will be an unmitigated disaster.

Good evening. It was a warm sunny 44 degrees today. I went for a walk and then did a little preventive maintenance on both cars.
This included charging the battery in Jeannette's car as it was dead. When I reconnected the battery cables the car alarm went
off with my ears about a foot away from it. I jumped back so fast I almost did a flip.

With her issues, will she get an early vaccine dose?

The Ice Flyers. They are one level below our minor-league team here in Wheeling(ECHL).

Yes, do it, Steve! :) E and I love hockey, that we follow the college team of Denver University. They are a lot of fun to watch.

Wow! Sorry, Rabz.
We (as a country - rather than personally) are managing the plague fairly well. Through vigorous testing, isolations, border closures, travel restrictions, quarantine etc. we've been able to stomp on any outbreaks to limit them to totals in the low hundreds of patients, with few if any deaths.

Since it isn't an emergency situation, compared to other places, we can afford to bide our time to analyse the efficacy and safety of the various vaccines. Or rather that's the spin put on it by the gubbernmint.

Early this week it was reported that there were zero covid patients still in intensive care and it had been several weeks since the last attributable death. So with patience and care I feel we can weather the storm for now. Having said that isolation sucks!! Mrs Rabz did point out that it isn't so bad, as we don't go anywhere anyway :)

Especially if you stuck the landing.

Got a report from son Brandon who is in DC. You may have seen pics or heard news reports about the Guard sleeping on the floors of of the visitors center and other government buildings. Right now he is still in a hotel but says that will be changing soon. He says things are β€œsquirrley” already but no violence. Yet. He also got lessons about and a tour of the buildings underground tunnels. This is the first time he has had his rifle and ammo with him on a mission (he’s in his 14th year). Scary times for mom and dad.

Haven’t taken a look, are the minors kicking off WV? You still working with the Nailers?
