Farewell January FRIDAY @ the MSC
Good Morning All!
it sure is nice to see some long ago MSC patrons around these parts lately.
It's the last Friday of January - wow ! That seems to have gone pretty darn quickly.

Good morning, Linda!
Yep, it sure has been nice.
Carpooling with E this morning. My car is at the dealership so they can (hopefully) fix my drooping car window.
Glad it's Friday!!

Aloha! It is a bit chilly here on the Gulf coast this morning. Waiting for the sun to warm things up so I can take my walk. We are going to see a fabulous Irish group tonight — The Byrne Brothers. Hope you all have a wonderful day.
I'm just tryin to get by, being quiet and shy, in a world full of pushin and shove

Good morning Linda, Penny and Sang. I look forward to this month being over. As we drove on a snowy road this morning, Holiday played on RM. I could use one.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Sunny and bone chilling 16* here this morning. They are saying there is a possibility of 1-3 inches of snow starting tomorrow night. I'm already at work....boss is taking the weekend off starting today so I had to get here early to open up. Have a great Friday

Re: Farewell January FRIDAY @ the MSC
Good morning. During the 11:00 news last night they said we would have the coldest overnight temperatures of the new year, it was supposed to go down to 28 degrees. They lied, it only went down to 30. It's an almost tropical 33 now.
I have an appointment for my annual eye exam next Thursday. I just got an email from Lens Crafters this morning with a coupon for 50% off lenses with the purchase of new frames. I have to remember to print the coupon in case I have to get new glasses this year. Last year my prescription didn't change so I kept the old glasses.

Hey Linda,
Yes, I have been MIA since 2017! It seems like I never see friends' posts on FB, just ads these days. I have scroll forever to find PHriends postings, so decided to check back into the place where it all started.

I didn't see this story on the news, for which I will be forever grateful.Saltx3 wrote: ↑January 29, 2021 11:38 am This made me think of Larry (ecause he lives in Myrtle Beach)

It sort of reminds me of a Long Island Railroad story I read in the newspaper about 15-20 years ago. A married couple and the husband's brother had gone into New York City for a night on the town. They were going home on the train at about 2:00am and the conductor had the police meet the train at the station to have them arrested, they were having a threeway on the train. Their lawyer tried to spin the story by saying they were responsible citizens for taking the train home because they were drunk and shouldn't have been driving.
