Good morning Linda. The drink was supposedly named for a Spanish American dancer, Margarita Hayworth. She shortened her name to Rita as an actress.

Good Morning pholks!

Dipped my toes in Lake Margarita Saturday night. Went out for dinner & drinks with friends at a tiny local joint. Owner was giving out sample cocktails, including our tequila based little friend. Of course that led to ordering up the full size version.
Will refrain from indulging today/tonight. I may drink beer on weekdays but cocktails are normally weekend only.

Enjoy your day all

Good morning. No margaritas for me today. I have a bottle of tequila but I don't have any of the other ingredients at home and I don't feel like going to Margaritaville, or anyplace else, to get one. The Carolina Hurricanes have a game tonight so I'll have a beer, or maybe 2, while I'm watching the game.

No margaritas for me. Although I probably could deal with Monday at work better.

I brought this (empty) with me to work today.

I only wish it was full :)

it's really snowing now -- roads will be really bad going home (whenever that is). I will probably celebrate the day when I get home.

Good afternoon all. Snow has been coming down heavy the past few hours. Cleared out the driveway and was working
on the sidewalk when the township plow came through and buried everything I cleared. Said "screw it" and went back inside.

Just checked the weather at home, 32° with mixed precipitation.
77° here by the pool with a nice breeze & 1 cloud in the sky.
I'll try to send some to y'all up north

Actually no need to send it up here. I want the cold. Kills off Lyme disease.

Hi there! It's an ugly day here with 2 inches of snow, then rain and drizzle. Since I'm saving on hotel rooms these days, I treated myself to fishing lures. A box of baits arrived today. Woo Hoo! The pile gets bigger.

Hey BP,

Are soft plastic lures still in fashion over there?

You know what they say, lures are designed and decorated to catch fishermen, not fish.... :)

It was in the 60s today but what a crappy day - overcast, damp and windy. There hasn't been any rain but it feels like it's going to start raining any minute.

I had no plans today but I had a gift card for Buffalo Wild Wings so I had wings and beer for lunch. One of the choices for the wings was Nashville hot sauce. I like hot spicy food so that's what I had. There was some kick to those bad boys. :o

Yep! I use them a lot. Pike and muskies tear them up and with prices between 15 to 30$, I weld the the tears shut

75 today, unfortunately I had to fix my fridge and couldn't enjoy the nice weather. Wasn't working this morning, after 3 trips to the appliance repair shop I replaced a circuit board and all is well.
