How many tickets were purchased by these two scalpers? That should be very easy to determine. And does this mean Buffett will be playing to an empty place? I cannot imagine that the scalpers only bought a "few" seats/pods.

And that still doesn't explain how the Eventbrite website was saying the $600 pods were "sold out" an hour before the public sale. You knew it would be a tough get with the pent up demand over the last year and a relatively small number of tickets to start with but crap like this is really discouraging.

I did not get this message in any of my browsers for the 4 shows before 10 AM.
By 10:09 though, I got the sold out notification.

Would be great if we all get another chance to buy them but doubt that will happen.

More than happy to help fill out a pod if anyone has open seats. I don’t really care which day and can be a single or have a friend tag along if you have a pair to spare!

Just looking through some pictures and videos it doesn't appear that Peter and Jim Mayer, Tina Gullickson, Nadirah Shakoor were there last night. Anyone confirm this? It looked like a smaller stage but that can't be the reason. This could explain why none of the new stuff from Flip Side was played. Or has he downsized the band again? If so it could explain why Peter and Jim Mayer are booked to play a headlining show with their band in Chicago the same night Buffett is in Virginia in August.

You're correct that he didn't have the full band with him.
Being that VA is my home venue & I have tickets, I'm curious as to how this will play out for Aug.

I think Peter and Jim have a show on the 15th in Miami. It is I believe an off day. So who knows. The Virginia date has them in Chicago.
