Good morning everyone. We still have the remnants of the 64 mph winds that were here yesterday and throughout the night. I have lots of “to dos” outside but they will have to wait until Mother Nature moves those winds outta town.

Enjoy your 1st day of May.

Good morning Bill and Linda! :)

BEAUTIFUL day here today. Upper 80's and sunny. Groceries to get, laundry to start, and heading to one of our favorite places to watch the Kentucky Derby. :D

Sunny and blustery in Vacationland. Brunch at my sister's house this morning and traditional lobster cookout at our house tonight. Keet is on his way, too. :D

Well, gave Tink his final meal Kentucky fried chicken. Took him out to eat some grass and he pees on me. 3 hours to go.

Happy May Day all.

What is May Day in the US?
In the 19th century, May Day took on a new meaning, as an International Workers' Day grew out of the 19th-century labor movement for worker's rights and an eight-hour workday in the United States. May Day 2021 will be celebrated on Saturday, May 1, 2021.

I'm doing my share, although an 8 hr Saturday isn't something I enjoy doing on a regular basis on top of the 5 day work week. Will be back in tomorrow as well.....hopefully not for 8 hrs. through.
Good looking day here in the Great Lake State. Daytime high of 65 hitting around 6/7 o'clock tonight. Sunny skies....I'll take it. Sticking there most of the overnight.
Cranking up to near 80 tomorrow but 50/50 on evening showers

Enjoy Gang!

The Myrtle Beach Marathon was today, I think it started about 6:00 or 7:00 this morning. I guess it's safe to go outside now.

Between Bryan and I, we cleaned house and did laundry today. He took the dogs out and used the forced air dryer to blow out more undercoat. Waiting until tomorrow (warmer temps) to bathe them. Feeling pretty good 👍. Waiting for the Kentucky Derby!

We liked the long shot Keepmeinmind and then I was rooting for jockey Mike Smith on Midnight Bourbon. But I'm not surprised at another Bob Baffert win.

The Carolina Hurricanes have a game tonight but when I tuned to the cable sports channel that usually carries their games the Atlanta Braves were on. I switched to the other sports channel I get and the Charlotte Hornets (basketball) were on. I'm watching The Wizard Of Oz on TCM instead.
