Happy Mother's Day to all you mothers.
Gorgeous sunny spring day in Vacationland. No chores, finished them yesterday. Caught a lovely sunrise walking the pup. Later we will take the boat around to a little lobster shack for lunch.

Good morning. Two of my brothers and I make it a point to visit Mom every Sunday.
It's special this Sunday because it's Mother's Day. Next Sunday is her birthday.

Had a rough night last night.... restless legs, feeling short of breath, couldn't sleep, in and out of bed...the last time I saw the time it was 3:30 am. Then the dog woke me up at 5:30 to go out. The bug guy is having some issues... Bryan took him to the vet on Friday and everything checked out, even though he had peed in his crate twice...no urinary tract infection. But yesterday he actually was laying down and he peed in his sleep twice! He's a big, hairy boy and we can't have this. There's going to be another call to the vet tomorrow morning to see what the next step will be.

We're off to see Mom with my sister and BIL for a short visit. Then E and I are going to Dukes again for brunch.
YUM!!
It's a chilly/cloudy day today, but at least it's not snowing.

Major League Baseball has been pinking it up on Mother's Day for several years.
I've told this story before, the Mets used to have a player named Cliff Floyd. One Mother's Day he hit a foul ball and broke his pink bat. While he walked to the dugout to get a new bat, the announcer said "so much for Pink Floyd."
