It was the third of June, another sleepy, dusty Delta day . . .

Good morning. What a pathetic display of baseball by the Pelicans last night. Five errors and 12 strikeouts in a 6-2 loss. The first baseman played left field and the 3rd string catcher played first base. They're only 26 games into the season and 5 of the players in the starting lineup and all 3 of the relief pitchers they used weren't on the opening day roster.

Hoping the weather isn't too bad tomorrow. There's a free outdoor show. Saturday has an indoor show.

I might try for one of the Nashville shows. I'm not home right now so I'm not sure which one I might go to, I have 2 Pelicans games in July and I don't remember the dates so I'll have to check.

Their jerseys just say COLUMBIA but they have a firefly logo on the caps. My seat isn't that close to the field so I couldn't see too well but I wonder if the firefly glows in the dark.

Just realized my work partner is on vacation that week so I HAVE to hold down the fort in town.... What stinks is at that time she'll be in....you guessed it..the greater Cincinnati area
