Cook Out SUNDAY@ the MSC
Good morning BN. We head to my nephew's to see his daughter. She moved to San Antonio last year. I'll find out if she likes the heat there.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Re: Cook Out SUNDAY@ the MSC
Good Morning.
Kevin just cooked his breakfast - eggs & toast (I'm not a big breakfast eater so I'll grab a yogurt soon).
I've got a funeral visitation to attend (daughter of a bailiff both of whom were my DD a few times for the District Attorney DUI "training" event).
Then Kevin & I are going downtown to an outdoor winery (for me) to hear a Grateful Dead tribute band (for Kevin). One of the guitarists is the son of a church friend. We've seen the band before and Kevin says "they are awesome"

I'm going to cook dirty rice stuffed peppers for lunch and leftovers.
Penny is cooking Parmesan crusted catfish and corn on the cob for dinner.
The freezer is stocked with bratwurst, burgers and steaks for next weekend.

I made some pasta yesterday and there's leftovers so I'll be heating that up instead of cooking something else.

Morning BNers
Watching drag racing from Norwalk. Astros game starts about noon.
John Paul DeJoria sold Patron for big $$$$.
So, he is starting a phone company, Rockit phones. And then start another tequila company. Guess it takes $$ to make $$$.

The Pelicans game went into extra innings last night. They didn't score in the top of the 10th inning. The home team gets up in the bottom of the inning with the free runner on 2nd base. The Pelicans pitcher walks 2 guys, bases loaded. They next guy hits a grand slam and they lost 6-2. Since they pitched the no-hitter Wednesday they've lost 3 in a row. This is looking like another playoff-free season.

Bryan and the middle daughter are working at the new house. He has pulled up all the carpet and today is finishing up pulling up the tack strips. The girl is taking down the closet organization shelves in preparation for the painter who is scheduled to start tomorrow!
The flooring is scheduled for delivery on Wednesday and the floor guys are going to get started the following Wednesday! Still need to order the new kitchen cabinets and the kitchen sink....
I've been doing laundry and cleaning the bathrooms today... tomorrow I am planning on going to my first session of cardiac rehab. Wish me luck

Big rolling thunder here with some rain.
Glad I planned to stay home.
Rain halt in Norwalk. Not much, just a drizzle but top fuel doesn't run with any moisture.

Astros/Tigers still 0-0 in the 4th

I went for a walk in the park and I saw something I've never seen in the almost 9 years since I moved here. The park is only a couple of miles from the airport and I saw a plane from Southwest Airlines taking off, they never used to fly here. I wonder when they started?

Are you still stuck at the airport?
Not a boat day (again). We're having kielbasa & pierogies. Re-starting diet tomorrow, I guess.
