Any guesses if Jimmy will squeeze in Vegas in after Jazzfest since Europe is cancelled? Looks like there is an opening for Halloween weekend at the MGM......

Probably not Halloween unless Jimmy changes venues. The MGM Grand Garden Arena is booked for Halloween night by Phish. The Saturday of that weekend is also booked. Buffett normally plays the third weekend of October. Considering the 16th is already booked, my guess is the 23rd. He has been linked with T-Mobile Arena lately. If he switches venues, all bets are off.

If he switches to T-Mobile Arena he has to work around the Golden Knights schedule, the hockey season starts in October.

The last few years he's been playing the 2nd Saturday of October. I'm not going to hold my breath for a show this year but you never know.

With Vegas being the epicentre of Covid-19 and masks being mandated indoors at midnight tonight, I'm not liking the chances of Jimmy booking there this Fall.

I have been looking at this too. Thinking 10/23 was a good possibility but every venue he is playing up through Jazz Fest is outdoors. I would bet if they are holding the date at MGM, they will pass on it now as the indoor mask requirements return.

Sadly - I agree. I think we are looking at 2022.

Understanding the current mask mandate that's in place, I'm just putting this out there: T Mobile has nothing scheduled on October 16th. No Golden Knights, no musical acts.
MGM Grand has J. Cole booked on the 16th.

Venues can now go mask free in Vegas as long as they require vaccines for everyone attending. It’s a step in the right direction but I have a feeling that Jimmy is not looking to play any indoor venues while the virus is still quite active. I think it will be 2022 or later before Jimmy plays another Vegas show.
