Any word whether Jimmy will play Detroit this year? We were not on the schedule for 2020 and it looks like a lot of his 2021 shows are reschedule form last year. I heard the July 18th Chicago date can't happen because of a venue conflict. Hopefully Detroit can slide into that spot. I read the rumor about him possibly playing in the Faster Horses Festival. I hope that doesn't happen because I'm not a big country music fan.

With today's announcement that outdoor capacity will be 100% on June 1st.....faster horses is a go....but without brad Paisley....that was the driving force for the jimmy rumors...along with jimmy adding f.h. as an event on Facebook.

Brad is doing his own tour now and since they did not do their Opry show together it's assumed they won't be doing any shows together now.

So if jimmy does play this year it likely would be pine knob....however dye didn't really cancel any shows for covid....they rejust postponed them.....they will have more artists booked than dates available after June 1st. I doubt there would be much flexibility to add Jimmy....

But hey stranger things have happened like a global pandemic and the president telling people it would just go away and to not wear masks and drink bleach

The new "substitute" dates that have popped up this year have been at venues with small seating capacities. For obvious reasons (not much time for ticket sales) he's now doing the Wharf, 10,000....Tuscaloosa Amp, 7,500.....he added shows for warmups in Nashville....less than 7,000, Arkansas, 9,500.
Maybe 313 should have Meadowbrook should make a push!!! That'd be a trip!!

I have tickets thanks to my wife for my birthday to Dead and Company in September.....

They along with Maroon 5 (good friends with savannah Buffett) would be requiring Vaccine cards to get into the show or a negative test that was taken within the last 48 hours of showtime.

I could see this being a stipulation for Jimmy if it's happening

Meadowbrook or freedom hill would be crazy.....but I'm pretty positive it's going to be the Knob but like his friends in marron 5 and The dead it will be a vaccine card show.

I was thinking for a minute earlier...please don't be the palace in December......then I smacked myself for not remembering that the palace was torn down a long time ago

Was just down to the Meadowbrook box office last weekend picking up tickets for a show at freedom hill for Labor Day weekend. I had the same thought, set Jimmy up at one of these venues, especially Meadowbrook. Would be insane! According to the website 7700 capacity

Meadowbrook would be absolutely nuts. Here's to hoping!

Well I guess I have the budget of no concerts for 2020 or 2021 thus far. I know my 16yo is going to expect tickets no matter the cost!!!! I need to know the date ASAP so I can revamp my shark girl outfit if needed, LOL.

Sorry it's going down that way for you Jason. In my case, it's more conducive as the 23rd rather than the 28th. I have to be to Detroit Metro by 5 am the 29th.....so doubt I would be able to swing it the 28th.

Yep hopefully it goes from a Tuesday to Thursday to Saturday show.....

But if it is the first Detroit show in two decades that I have to miss...just watch, he'll play turning around..lol that would be my luck
