Today is National Mad Hatter Day

October 6th is a day set aside each year to bring out your silly side while celebrating National Mad Hatter Day.
The fictional character, The Hatter (also known as The Mad Hatter) from Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, is typically acting silly, and that is how the creators of this day decided on their theme of silliness for National Mad Hatter Day. Sir John Tenniel illustrated The Mad Hatter and all of Lewis Carroll’s colorful characters beginning in 1864. Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland was first published in 1865.

Good morning. I returned my rental car at the airport Monday and the charge finally made it to my credit card today. It's $150 less than the estimated amount from when I made the reservation in August. The charge for the hotel isn't on my card yet, maybe that will be $150 less too.

Good morning, BN! No time to stop in before heading to work. And once again, our Unit Secretary/front desk person was late, and I had to cover till she got in. Then SURPRISE! She 'forgot' to clock in..

I used to buy lottery tickets every week when I lived on LI but I rarely buy them anymore.

When I checked out of the hotel Monday morning I asked them to email the bill to me. I finally got it, about 15 minutes ago. The total was less than the estimate from when I made the reservation, but not $150 less like the rental car. It was $0.76 less. I'll try not to spend it all at once.

I've never had a rental or hotel total end up less than the estimate. I feel like you already won the lottery but you should drop a couple of bucks on a lottery ticket anyway

OK. Back at that "Twin Peaks" place for the third day in a row. The past two afternoons, I was basically the only person in the place, or at least the oly person at the bar. Today, I pulled in and the parking lot was packed. The place is packed. All of the girls are in lingerie. HOLY CRAP !!!! I went to order a beer and I think I stuttered.

Is this legal??

The sign out front says "Scenic Views".......they are very accurate.

The old Cheese Burger in Paradise on the north side of Indy is now a Mexican place. Going to hit that for dinner tonight. Bring back some memories....and then of course, hit Bubba's for a night cap

Every time we went to Indy, we would go to CIP. It was always fun. So, we are going to miss it.
