Our 1st meeting with a financial planner went surprisingly well. More for me than Kevin. Biggest sigh of relief was "Tom" saying I can retire any day but Kevin will need to work until 65 because he doesn't qualify for maintaining the County health insurance between retirement and age 65.

Penny, I am fishing the Salmon river , a tributary to Lake Ontario.

It's the most crowded weekend to fish in the fall. The salmon run peaks and everyone in the East has a 3 day weekend.

Once in a Galaxy far, far away, I went to 4-H camp in Oklahoma. One day in arts and crafts, the girls made birdcages from wire coat hanger with plastic flowers. They were lovely. The boys learned to tie flies.My Mother tied flies. She made a few and gave them to the fishermen in our family. I still have one.

That's sweet! I was taught the basics when I was a kid through a sportsmen's club. I've since taught fly tying to a bunch of kids and adults. My way of paying it back.
