Good morning Bill, Deb, and BN!!
Oh, the pressure - gotta do well on this test today!
Got some rest - up with E who is going to work today. Waiting to see how the patient is doing - I left a dose of his pain med in a cup on his bathroom sink, and I see that it's gone, so we'll see if he still feels like eating a cheeseburger today (he wanted one all day yesterday).
Plenty to keep me busy today, and a care conference for Mom at 10:00.

Great thread title Bill!
Good luck Penny!!

Continued phin power for Cameron!
The guessers lowered our expected temp for today. No longer record breaking but I'll take a sunny mid 80's fall day.
HAPPY Fri y'all!

Good morning.
When I called for a service appointment for my washing machine they told me sometime between 8:00am and 4:00pm today. The repairman called a little after 8:00 and said he had me down for 10:00-12:00. At least they narrowed it down.

Good Morning Gang!
Had plans to go to NYC week after next to see a concert by the musician Michael Rosenberg...AKA Stage name Passenger, my girlfriend's favorite artist, on Oct. 27.
Just got notification that he has postponed (he's an England resident) his appearance for the 2nd time (Oct. 2020 originally) in conjunction with the Covid issue. Now I have to see what I can do with Spirit airlines about a Plan B that can work as painless as possible for me as I don't want to keep the trip to NY.
Here's hoping everyone has a Fruitful Friday!!

Thanks, Andrea!!
I'd take the 80's, too! Considering we started out at 32.. but it's sunny!!!

Good luck with that, Ken.
Okay - I'm off to do some financial stuff I have to concentrate on (my bank of 15 years was bought by another and my account and routing number changed, so I have to change ALL of my bill paying online) , then Mom's care conference (Zoom), and then I'll take that test.
Patient is still sleeping, so don't know how he's doing yet.
TTFN.

That was quick. The repairman was here, I told him what was wrong, he looked at my washing machine and said the suspension was worn out. He said he has to order the parts because there are so many different models he doesn't carry them in his truck but they're readily available so he should have them next week. He was here and gone in about 5 minutes. I went to the laundromat yesterday so that means at least one more trip, probably Monday or Tuesday.

Thinking a trip somewhere warm in Nov.or Dec.may be a possibility.
3 things with the April date. 1) End of accounting quarter/One week after tax deadline = hard to get away. B) Girlfriends Birthday is 4/22. Not that she wouldn't enjoy celebrating it with you phab pholks but she also has a commitment as of 4/23 for a week & can't get out of. 3) According to my math skills
1+B=Complications!

ARGH.
They still have me on the no fly list in this place when using my home network.....very frustrating.
Lots going on the last few days around here, glad to hear most is good.
Tonight is our turn to host Happy Hour with neighbors. Wife has both a smoked tuna dip, and a crap dip for appetizer along with some boiled shrimp.
Need to go test the beer taps and make sure they are pouring cold enough

Damn, the Abita Purple Haze tap is now blowing air with no replacement kegs of any brand in the cellar. Guess I shouldn't have put it under an extreme stress test as I did, but damn those are good. Wife is mad at me, what else is new.....

Test brag. My senior year in college I took a 200 question final exam in advanced biology. I was an art ed. major. We had 2 hours to complete the test. I went through the exam, checked a few questions and thought, I'm graduating regardless of this class. I turned in the test and walked out to the amazement of the prof. and the class of biology students after 18 minutes.
I got the third highest grade in the class.
