Final WEDNESDAY of October @ the MSC
Good Morning.
What we call "Fall Weather" is now here and it sounds like it will be sticking around this time.
Another criminal jury trial starts today. This one an aggravated assault case. Thats 2 trials for us this week -- haven't had that in years.

Happy Hump

Day.
On my way to work on this dreary fall day.
That's all I got.

Re: Final WEDNESDAY of October @ the MSC
same although yesterday was still a cold day to be cutting grass...
Today is gloomy both in weather and mood. One of our kittens had a few "events" after her spay yesterday. She has been diagnosed with an enlarged heart which stopped beating twice yesterday and she stopped breathing for a bit. She has a strong heartbeat and breathing but not much other function has returned. I anticipate she will not be coming home which makes us sad. Daughter has wisdom teeth removed today so a punky teenager with a punky kitten and a loss is making today a sad Wednesday all around.
However, there is still much to be grateful for so we are keeping things in perspective.

Man I am humbled. Friend set up a go fund me to help with my bills.
So you see Moog, you really had a wonderful life.
Strange, isn’t it? Each man’s life touches so many other lives. And when he isn’t around he leaves an awful hole, doesn’t he?
Remember, no man is a failure who has friends.

Afternoon BNers
What a morning. About dawn that front that has been hitting around the country got to us. We have a fairly new high school in the area and there was a tornado dancing around.
The storm was fast moving so it didn't storm long. Made it an exciting way to start the day.
The game last night was painful. It sure wasn't what we were hoping for.
On to game 2.

Re: Final WEDNESDAY of October @ the MSC
I was able to get someone to come out and look at our furnace today.... It's always bad when they say "ooh, I haven't seen one of these in years."
The bad news is that the blower motor is dead and would cost $2K to replace. The badder news is that nobody has one and they're back ordered at the factory with no ECD.
OK, if would cost $2K to repair my 20 year old furnace, maybe I should replace it? "Well, that'd work, but there's a furnace shortage right now and nobody can get one. Things are supposed to be better by the end of December."

I know the voices in my head aren't real, but sometimes they have really good ideas....

Our AC went out about a month ago. It was just the outside unit. They had it replaced however in less than 48 hours for the same $2K. Morale to the story......Move South...
