No surprise my 2nd work email this morning was from our President Judge saying the Dec 15 mask mandate expiration date is now extended to Jan 15.

We had 2 weeks in the Courthouse since "Covid started" that we were mask-free. We are the only county building with this requirement.

I am on my 2nd printer cartridge this morning. The County refuses to buy the name brand cartridges to match our printers so we get cheap refurbs.
I replaced mine on 11/2/21 (yes, I have a post it on the printer just for fun). I put in my spare and that doesn't work either. So now the Judge is fighting with our district court administrator to get a name brand cartridge.

I'm heading out at 2:00 for the funeral of a former bailiff (who also attended 8 of our 10 annual Ringville Parrotfests and was a member of our German Club).

So far Monday is not looking so good

Good morning Linda. I was going to start a thread, but I couldn't think of a suitably witty title.

The Hurricanes had another game last night. They were losing 2-0 going into the 3rd period and the announcer said they were in deep yogurt. I guess you can't say deep $h!t on Bally Sports South.

4 new hires this morning (only 3 have shown up), and 1 returning who didn't complete her orientation. Fun times.

I don't know if I can handle the excitement today. I went online and scheduled all my bill payments through the end of the month, then I went to the county Treasurer's office and paid my property tax. Now I'm waiting for the mail to be delivered. I should sit down and rest.

Apparently, John Forslund doesn't do Cane's games anymore. I remember him from my Whaler Days.

Apparently, John Forslund doesn't do Cane's games anymore. I remember him from my Whaler Days.

Forslund's contract expired after the 2019-20 season and they didn't bring him back. I think he does the Seattle Kraken games now.

Aloha, peeps.

Went for an updated MRI last week to take to my surgery consult tomorrow. The local MRI place hasn't released the test yet, and said they are waiting for some other films for comparison??? Many calls later, finally a note shows up in the online member portal late this afternoon, talking about 'unspecified neoplasm of male right breast' and they need comparison films.

(a) Pretty sure I'm still female (b) mine is very defined/specified and in my left breast (c) no one asked them to compare any films, they were just supposed to take the images and send them electronically to my surgeon (d) wonder what ended up in that poor bastard's chart.

So now I get to go there first thing in the morning and obtain my films so I can take them with me. Hopefully without going ***** crazy on them, I know making a scene doesn't accomplish anything but Lime >>>

Sorry about almost everyone's crappy days. Hope it he rest of the week gets better?

With the 3G/5G change, I took 3 phones to the phone store. Ryan's is compatible. I was sent a free phone from Att because my phone was a 3G...it is a 4. I took the case off my phone and the battery got hot and split. I tried to use the free phone but it doesn't work. The guy at the store worked and worked but a free phone isn't always a good thing. Will ask for another free phone but it will still be a cheap phone. Ugh
