Catching up on job paperwork today. Whee.

Doctor's office called and asked if I could switch my appointment to a phone call...uh no I'm sick and otc meds are not helping. So I had to leave immediately so they can do another Covid test. Waiting on the results now before they will allow me inside.
I left in such a hurry that I forgot to grab my eye glasses Rx...so that will have to wait for another day this week.
Going to stop by the grocery store and get a few things so I can make chicken and noodles for dinner...

Praying that I don't go home to a mess like yesterday...Big boy Beacon wasn't feeling well.

We got up to 23‎°F yesterday... that's only 85° colder than our hottest day last June! No climate change around here!

I had dental appointment this morning so today had a kinda hodge podge start to it.
Just got done waiting on phone with IRS with a client for nearly an hour. Message had stated wait time was estimated to be more than an hour, but by how much more is anyone's guess. Client had to leave so we'll try again tomorrow morning.
Time to grab a quick bite & then pursue other chores. Enjoy your last Tuesday of 2021 gang!

Last year when everything was locked down, I had to cancel a trip. I tried to cancel my flight online but Delta's website told me l had to call customer service. The recording said my estimated wait time was 4 1/2 hours. A little over 2 hours later, a human being picked up. I used about 50% of the battery power on my cell phone.

Almost all the snow we got yesterday has melted already. That means I don't have to shovel it.

good afternoon......still babysitting/handholding attorneys who apparently still don't understand our procedures for certain criminal event. Even those procedures have been in place for more than 1 year SINCE COVID....and are the same ones that were in place BEFORE COVID.

One more day closer to retirement....

I guess we've been lucky here. I've had several doctor appointments, and with different doctors, in the last (almost) 2 years, and never had to jump through any hoops, other than wearing a mask.

Thanks everyone for the good vibes! Covid test was negative. Started on steroids and she said she phoned in a Zpack and if I don't feel better by Friday to start it.... well it was ready when I got to the pharmacy so, I'm thinking about just going ahead and starting it tonight...
