Planning a visit from Scotland for the July leg of the Jimmy Buffett Tour - would like to road-trip 3 or 4 concerts. Rumours suggest the following possibilities:

Merriweather Post Pavilion, Columbia MD
DTE Energy Music Theatre, Clarkston MI
Riverbend Music Centre, Cincinnati OH
Alpine Valley, East Troy WI

Are there hotels / accommodations that are used regularly by Parrotheads for these particular venues? If so, can you advise or recommend please?

For the Cincy show, I have stayed at the Comfort Suites - 420 Riverboat Row, Newport, KY 41071. It is a quick and easy drive to the venue. They also have a free breakfast, usually decorated for the concert, and is right across the street for the Party Source, which is a great stopping point for all your tailgate beverage needs.

For Alpine, there is a ski resort where you can stay during the summer months.

There is also a Quality Inn about a mile or 2 away, however, I've heard prices usually go up for Buffett weekend there

For alpine there is a new Fairfield inn in lake Geneva and a Hampton inn in elkhorn. Those are probably the two closest besides the lodge and quality inn.
