Good morning Penny. I have popcorn often. In my family, every Saturday, it was popped on the stove with a huge bowl over the skillet. Melted butter was drizzled on and way too much salt if my sister helped. Popcorn balls were a standard treat. We had a bottle of Karo syrup as a staple.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.
Good morning Penny and Bill. I was never much of a popcorn person, I can take it or leave it.
It's supposed to be 60-65 degrees today and tomorrow, then 35 with freezing rain, sleet and ice, but no snow, Friday. I'd rather have snow, it would be easier to drive.
You had me at Popcorn!!!
Cheese....Kettle....Caramel.....Chicago style.
Now the stores have flavors such as HOT, Bar-B-Q, etc.
Fan of everything!
We'd go to the theater with the kids back in the day & order what they called "The Feedbag"!
I think we walked out of the theater looking like Popcorn balls.
Agree with the Moogster. Microwave popcorn I have to be in desperation mode to chomp on that!
Thinking of my wife Carol today as it's been 9 years ago she passed......
Corona by day, Corona by night, any old time is just alright!
The Hurricanes played the Boston Bruins last night. Before the game the Bruins had a ceremony retiring Willie O'Ree's number. He was the first black player in the history of the NHL and yesterday was the 64th anniversary of his first game. He wore #22. During a break in the first period, they showed a clip of the pregame warmups, every player on both teams came out wearing #22.
We rarely eat popcorn here and can't remember when I last made any. I don't think any has been popped in this house. Pretty sure the last I ate was at Disney 2 years ago.

I am able to see, but my puter' will not print that letter. Do you know how hard it is to type without using words that have a "See" in them?
