Does anyone know if they will allow tailgating near the arena or if we would need to do it on River St?

Not that anyone would actually notice a few thousand ParrotHeads on River St.

The venue say there will be tailgating but the last time I was over there the parking lots weren't even completed yet. They haven't announced anything in a while. Stay tuned . . . .

Still nothing definitive. They did just make parking available to purchase for all the shows up to the Buffett concert. It's amazing to me that they could finish the arena and the parking lots are still not done. I haven't been by there in about 2 weeks so hopefully they've made some progress.

10 days out and parking is still not for sale. When the concert was first announced the arena said there will be tailgating but there hasn't been a word yet. They also don't respond to their email.

It makes me think they are thinking of how they can overcharge us for parking since we want to tailgate. I wish they will hurry up so I can get a game plan for next week.

I think they're still trying to get some more spaces finished. Parking is a real mess, they opened with a temporary parking plan and most of the lots are scattered through a residential area. Look at it on an aerial and it's ummm, interesting where it's located. Here's a link to the map of the parking but who knows when anything is going to be available for purchase. Lot A is for the big shots and donors so that won't ever be on sale.

By sheer accident I checked TM yet again about 12:30. It said parking passes were going on sale at 1PM. I was logged in and waiting and when it hit 1PM the screen said tickets coming soon. After a few minutes it said SOLD OUT. There is no way. I was never in the queue. Something is very fishy. Nothing posted about when they were going sale so you can't tell me someone is scamming the system somehow. Very disappointing.

EDIT: and now they're for sale again

Depending on what lot you're in they open at either 6AM or noon.
