Dang it Jimmy. I have a work event out of state that weekend I cannot miss.

Major bummer.

Had to get tix for Austin, or it was not getting to go. Ticketmaster was using “demand pricing.” First time I had seen this.

I am glad we are going, but I’d much rather be going to the CWMP rather than the Moody Center.

Never been to a Woodlands show. What’s the tailgate scene like? Is there a specific lot? Anything you can tell me would be great!!

The tailgating scene is good. It is typically in the section of the mall parking lot that is adjacent to the CWMP.

An alternative is the bar at the Marriott. It gets pretty wild just before the show. (You can stay there and walk to the show)

Never been to Houston, when will they open up the parking? Can you tailgate on Friday?

I’m also curious about Friday. Does the party start in the mall parking lot then or is there something else going on Friday night?

The following is posted on the venues website regarding tailgating:

"The Pavilion will not be hosting a tailgate in our neighboring parking lot for this event. Feel free to follow the Houston Parrot Head Club for more info on any possible tailgates."

So the HPHC is having an event in Spring that day? Not in any of the parking lots? I’ve heard there is a decent tailgate there a CWP.

Oh the first time I read that I thought they meant no tailgate in the mall (neighboring) lot. They aren’t having tailgating in the CWP lots? Can you park there for the concert?
