The park was crowded today, there's a girls soccer tournament this weekend. It isn't 80 degrees but it's warm, I think it's time for a cold adult beverage.

Afternoon gang! Lazy Sunday for me.
Had tix to see Kansas tonight in concert at a 5000 seat venue up the road but it was inexplicably cancelled. The venue sent out email Saturday giving reason “due to circumstances beyond our control”, however the band had a show last night in Ohio & their show next Friday in New Jersey is still on.

Good afternoon all. Two of my brothers, a nephew, and I went to a Texas hold-em tournament at our cousin's house
in Perry county yesterday, Out of 18 players, Frank took 1st, I took 4th, nephew Mark finished 6th, and Chris 7th.
Food was included. Chili, baked ham, and roasted lamb. Had a great time. First time Frank and I ever made it to the
final table.

Bryan did some touch up painting in the kitchen and I made a double batch of peanut butter chocolate chip cookies today. Other than that I got nothing.

Church this morning and then I headed (again) to friends house for the final empty,sort, purge, reorganize session since she returns ti work tomorrow after being off since the Dec 5 horrific accident which totaled her car and left her currently with several rods and pins in her right leg.

I hope she is able to maintain her home in a way that will give her some peace and a feeling of accomplishment as she forges ahead after this physical and emotional trauma.
