Known as the Master of Suspense, Alfred Hitchcock is a pioneering film director who brought us some of our favorite classic horror films. From The 39 Steps to Psycho, Hitchcock developed innovative film making techniques that influenced generations of future filmmakers and changed the way we view horror and mystery.
"The Birds" is still one of my most scariest movies ever!!
Happy Saturday! Today is also Denver's St. Patrick's Day parade. Those used to be a ton of fun to be in with the CO PH Club. We have DU Playoff hockey tonight!
Good morning Penny. It was 68 degrees when I woke up this morning, it's 62 now, it's supposed to drop to 48 this afternoon and 26 overnight. It was 80 a few days ago. We have a high wind advisory until noon and a tornado watch until 1:00pm. I may just stay indoors for the next few hours.
Oh my god oh my god
The rain changed over. Could this be the bomb cyclone they told me about on TV? Should I go to the basement? Sit in tub? Stand in doorway? My god theTV people didn't tell me what to do. I can't think for my self, don't they know I am a US citizen?
ugh -- we're in the middle of the bomb cyclone. - snow blowing sideways, window screens blocked, 2700 folks without power (so far)...so today will be a day of a whole lot of nuthin' except sorting through old paperwork and general house cleaning (obviously inside)

In order to stay warm, I suggest sitting in the corner of your room.
It's almost always 90 degrees there. -"BB"-

Sounds like you're back at work taking 911 calls
Not yet. Getting in the mode. March 22 I will talk to doc. Should be back after April 1. The new shifts are waiting for my return.
I just looked out back, one of the houses across the street is going to need some repairs. A piece of siding was partially blown off by the wind and is swinging in the breeze.
Good morning BN. Winter here also. It was 68 at midnight and 38 at 7AM. Mid 20's expected tonight, very windy and cold all day. I have a pot of chili on the stove and wood ready for a fire tonight. Florida?
I didn't renew my partial season ticket plan for the Pelicans this year. Single game tickets go on sale next Friday but they're having a presale now. I'm trying to decide if I should go to opening day, 31 days from today. Or maybe Dinosaur Night, which is on my birthday.
Suppose to stay in the mid 50's all day here. At least we have sunshine and the wind finally calmed down. I was sure the outside umbrella was going to come through the window.
Good afternoon all. The snow finally stopped but still windy. Not going to shovel until tomorrow 'cause it'll
just drift back with the wind. Nothing to do so I spent the day doing our taxes.

I'd go to Dinosaur Night just out of curiosity about how they're going to tie dinosaurs in with baseball and pelicans.
The fact that it's your birthday is just lagniappe. -"BB"-

I worked today till 2:00.
Gonna go to our favorite Mexican restaurant a little later on.
Also need to make a quick stop by the grocery for fresh ginger and duck sauce for dinner tomorrow. (Orange Chicken and homemade Egg rolls)
Bryan gave Beacon a bath while I was at work and I will be taking him to the vet on Monday morning....he's been coughing/clearing his throat for the past few days... and he's more lethargic than normal.
Love Alfred Hitchcock Presents. Such quality and efficient storytelling in 30 minutes, and great early performances from actors that went on to become famous, the Law & Order of its day. The Alfred Hitchcock Hour 60 minute episodes tend to drag though. Of his films, my favorite is Rebecca, loved the book and loved the film.
Y'all can keep the nasty weather. Nothing here so far but rain.
You only have two options - havin' fun or freakin' out...
