Hump Day @ The MSC
Good morning.
I'm waiting for a delivery from UPS and the confirmation email they sent me says I have to sign for the package. Expected delivery is anytime between now and 6:00pm. I guess I have to stay home today.

Boy, are you old.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

This weeks New Yorker has a 9 page article on the retirement home in Daytona Beach. After reading it I figure I don't belong there.

I got an email from Ticketbastard today with a slate of some of the musical acts coming this way this year. Wow, talk about some names from the past! Then again, there aren't too many current artists that I'd pay to see...

The Black Crowes Chicago
Chris Isaak
Norah Jones
Lyle Lovett And His Large Band
Steve Miller Band
Jason Mraz
New Kids On The Block
Stevie Nicks
Bonnie Raitt
Steely Dan
Rod Stewart
Ziggy Marley

I know the voices in my head aren't real, but sometimes they have really good ideas....

Still waiting for UPS to get here. I went to get my mail and the only non-resident vehicle in the parking lot was an ambulance sitting in front of my building with the engine idling. Three EMTs came out of the elevator as I was walking to the mailbox but they didn't have anyone on a stretcher and they weren't moving with any sense of urgency so I guess whatever it was wasn't too serious.

We have tix to Lyle Lovett and his large band. At a local “ theater” with about 2,000 seats. We saw him years ago with John Hyatt but never with the band.
