Another idea, I posted it in the duets thread, but it would also sound great if he did it solo: The Boss’s "Sherry Darlin’" from the 1980 album The River.
I heard Jimmy doing "Here Comes the Sun" as his last encore on Valentine's Day 2002 in Tallahassee, Fla. George Harrison had just died a couple of months earlier and Jimmy did it as a tribute, just him and his guitar. It was very moving. But you're right; it would be great with the band!
And BTW, I also would love to hear JT's "Carolina In My Mind." :pirate:

My preference would be for JB to not do any covers and just play his own music. He has too many great songs that i would prefer to hear instead.

Guy Clark - Boats to Build

Actually I think he'd do a good job with LA Freeway too, and there's a bunch of John Hiatt tunes (besides Tiki Bar) that I'd love to hear Bubba do.
