Good choices..I think everyone is always jazzed when he does a new cover. I'd have to agree with Trench Town Rock, the Edmond Fitzgerald and Kokomo or maybe one of my favorites, Bob Marley's 'I Know A Place'

I'm not sure if he's done it, but "Give Me 2 Steps" by Skynard or "The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down". These are good ol' southern songs.

Oooh, Mexico
It sounds so simple
I just got to go
The sun's so hot
I forgot to go home
I guess I'll have to go now

I think Jimmy does it better than James!

You can't prove that. That wasn't me. I may have been sitting in the area, but you can't prove it was me....

I would love to hear either Joni Mitchell's
Big Yellow Taxi, or Jim Croce's 'You Don't Mess Around With Jim'

Since he now has a home in the Hamptons, I think Billy Joel's song The Downeaster Alexis would be a really good one. It's such a great song.

I've always thought Jimmy and the Coral Reefers could come up with a tropical version of "Shout" by Otis Day and the Knights. (Remember the Belushi movie, "Animal House"?) Can you imagine the children of the lawn all doing the "dying cockroach"?

And I wouldn't mind hearing a live concert version of "Please Take Your Drunken 15 Year Old Girlfriend Home" as a blast from the past. That was probably a request for "El Stumpo the Bando" from a few years ago.

I realize it wouldn't be a true 'cover' since it's one of his own songs, but I'd love to hear We Are The People Our Parents Warned Us About, or I love when he does Southern Cross, or we could take it back a few with some Morris's Nightmare, or how 'bout B.Marley's Buffalo Soldier, -love that song!

Old favorites I would like to hear again and again in concert are Gravity Storm, Stars on the Water and Great Heart..

I've always wanted to hear Jimmy sing If I had a boat by Lyle Lovett live.. I was actually hoping it would be on the new album... The new album is good though
