a bob dylan tune would be great also. i reread APL@50 while on beach this week and enjoyed the part where jb meets dylan and hangs out with him talking boats in st barts.

I haven't read through everyone's responses, but I'd like to hear "Uncle John's Band" or some other Dead stuph...or his cover of "He's Got You" or maybe even some of the Bob Marley stuph.

At first I said "what in the WORLD was UP thinking?" then I started to imagine Jimmy in his "surfer dude" voice...it could work!

I agree that Bob Seger would be a great choice. I love him.
By the way, what is he up to? I haven't heard anything from him in years...

I was thinking a great song to cover would be BAKER STREET by Gerry Rafferty. It would be a GREAT SONG to feature AMY LEE on the sax

It would be awesome if buffett did "Wonderful Tonight" or "The Dance" I think he would be able to sing it 10 times better than Eric and Garth!

Daddy, See link to article about Seger. Seems he is up to a favorite pastime of Jimmy. Sailing. He just won the Port Huron to Mackinac Island race.
