The Water is Wide ..... good song, lot of people have covered it, including Taylor, and it has water in it.

Sea of Tranquility....old Lightfoot tune that would suit JB's style and let Peter roll off on a good guitar solo.

I would like to hear Jimmy play:

"Sloop John B" by the Beach Boys (I have always wondered what that would sound like)

or

"Sun Down" by Gordon Lightfoot

Any cover would be fine, except for "Escape (the Pina Colada Song)". Some idiots already think that he sings the song! And I hope I never here any Garth Brooks (the Anti-Country) songs from Jimmy! :pirate:

Two tunes that come to mind, have harp parts that "Fingers" can excell on. They are : I'm a Loser, by John Lennon and Like a Rolling Stone, by "Zimmy". Of course the arrangements must be Buffatized with parts for all the Reefers. Tempo's should be changed as well. We don't want karyoke. Ralph's drums, with Roger, Amy and the horns, the Mayer's, Mac, Michael U., Doyle, Nadira and Tina adding their vocals, last but not least, Robert 's steel pans, On & on ya got me dream'n !

What a grate choice Aunt! If Jimmy and the Reefers busted out "Deacon Blues" I would be in Heaven. But being a musician, I can honestly tell you that Steely Dan has by far the most complex pop music in history. The band would have to rehearse this song for months just to get it right. How about "Dirty Work" ?

He actually DID "City of New Orleans" at the Saturday Chicago concert last year as a tribute to Steve Goodman. It sounded great.

THE WRECK OF THE EDMUND FITZGERALD -- GORDON LIGHTFOOT

"The captain wired in, "we have water coming in", and the good ship and crew were in peril. Later that night, when its lights went out of sight, came the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald"

I would like to hear "Me and Hulio". Paul Simon's version is great but I think Jimmy could do better.

I always thought that he should end the show with "Stay" from Maurice or Jackson Brown (whichever one you want!) then go into the encores. That would be cool. :)
