Good morning.
The Pelicans won 2-1 in 12 innings last night, but what a pathetic display of baseball by both teams. They combined for 34 strikeouts, 20 by Augusta, and only 11 hits. At least the weather was nice.

Re: Hump Day Wednesday @ the MSC
Good morning boys and girls!!
Yesterday I was able to drive for the first time in 3 weeks. And I was successful! I'm planning on going back to work on the 19th, with limited hours for the first 2 weeks. I'm also limited in the time I sit or stand, including wearing my brace, and not able to lift and bend and such. But I'm ready to see humans other than E and Cameron!!
I have been walking about a half mile each day, when weather permits. Last night we got down to the teens, and winds have been ridiculous!!
Read back over the last few days, and glad I don't have anyone flying all over and getting married... and if we have any appliances go out, we just call maintenance!

Our place is packed with boxes for Cameron's move next week!!
Time for a little food. Don't have much of an appetite these days.. have lost about 15 pounds, which is a good thing!!
Have a wonderful Wednesday!!

The repairman was just here for my washer and he has to order some parts. He gave me a card and said I should call the office tomorrow afternoon and they can give me an idea when the parts might arrive. I hope it isn't too long.
Now that I don't have to sit here waiting anymore, I have a couple of errands to run

Afternoon BNers
Another cloudy day but 79 degrees and breezy.
I forgot about another "breakage". The sound system in the PT Cruiser died. Larry had it replaced today.
But the ice maker is kinda working.

Good afternoon all. Just got back from taking my grandaughter and her friend to the Old Sled Works in Duncannon.
It's a place where the used to make "Lighting Guider" snow sleds up until around 1980. Now it's a huge antique flea market.
On the way back we stopped for ice cream. Weather 77 and sunny. Tonight six of us are going to Hershey to see Elton John
in concert. I bought the tickets two years ago but the show was postponed until now because of the pandemic. The last time
I saw Elton John was October 1975 in Oakland, CA.

Clayton Kershaw was pitching a perfect game and the Dodgers manager took him out after 7 innings. He had only thrown 80 pitches. What are they doing to baseball? ![noeyedear-shrugging [smilie=noeyedear-shrugging.gif]](./images/smilies/noeyedear-shrugging.gif)

Almost home, but had a 2:30 meeting so pulled into a microbrewery about 20 minutes from my house. Nice to have a meeting, sit outside and enjoy a beer all at the same time.
OK....make that 3 beers.

I had to go to the mall to drop my watch off at the jewelry store to get a new battery. I was about halfway to the mall and I realized I left my watch home. Oops.
