Tailgate Food THURSDAY@ the MSC

Post by bodypainter »

Good morning BN. Bern, my brother from another mother, was featured on a Cleveland program. He put together his pulled pork recipe, then showed the finished sandwich along with other treats. Boy, do I miss his tailgate food!
How about some memorable food at tailgates?
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Good morning Bill. I think Dave's food at Great Woods is probably the best tailgate food I've had.

I'm supposed to have the 6 month maintenance on my HVAC and plumbing under my service contract today. When they called a few days ago to make the appointment, they told me my window of opportunity was 10:00-2:00. The office just called and said someone was available and could be here in about 10 minutes. The sooner the better, then I can get on with my day.

And before I forget Happy Birthday Janice!!!

Still waiting for the plumber but the HVAC guy is here. He's from Long Island. He said he and his wife bought a second home down here in 2017 but they moved here permanently in January, 2021. I've had my service contract with this company for 8 years. He's the 3rd HVAC guy from LI and 2 of the plumbers have been from NY - one from LI and the other from the Bronx. Can't get away from NYers

Good afternoon, folks. Great show at the Giant Center in Hershey last night. Elton John performed for about 2 1/2 hours.
Was not disappointed. Heard every song I wanted to hear. He's got a lot of energy for a 75-year-old. The arena was PACKED.
The place holds 12,500 for concerts and I saw no empty seats. :pirate:

The first Buffett tailgate I went to I wound up doing the cooking for some people I had just met because they were
all too drunk to cook. They fed me and gave me beer. :pirate:

Afternoon (barely) BNers

74° and partly sunny.

Thinking of making a Walmart run. Don't really need much but can't survive without Rancd dressing.

The plumber just got here, finally. I hope he's as quick as the HVAC guy, I have things to do.

Sitting in a black car on a black asphalt parking lot and sweating. Only 81 but it is terrible. I was shopping but none of the carts were working so I had to come back to the car.

Hi there! Our day started with ugly rain clouds that cleared into a beautiful sky. At a diner I had a Rueben for lunch as well as Nachos from Anne's plate. So much food I ate only a few bites of pie.

Larry, I looked forward to Dve's food in 14, but only got a little bit. Either Nancy or Linda said" Open up!" and pushed a crab cake in mouth. Yum!
One year, Bern brought 10 pounds of shrimp with a variety of dips and filet mignon sliders. People were trying to pay me with food for my painting. I said"No thanks. I'm okay." I didn't want their hot dogs. I was eating good at my booth.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

I went to the jewelry store at the mall to pick up my watch, I needed a new battery. I had the battery replaced at the same store once before and I remember they told me it came with a 5 year warranty. According to their records the last time they replaced the battery was Oct., 2017, less than 5 years ago, no charge today. Free is good. [smilie=gt-happyup.gif]

Happy Friday Eve, peeps. 8)

Bill, thought of you and your tagline today. It's pouring today, and 42 degrees out. Driving to an appointment I passed not one, not two, but three separate fishing nuts in little skiffs out on the river. Whack jobs.

Molly, you can order a 12-pack direct from Hidden Valley for $50 bucks and they ship it directly to you.

Today started out kinda scary. I tripped in the garage and almost bit it. I managed to catch myself and save my coffee but I banged my wrist and have a nice lump and bruise and I broke a nail 💅

Omgoodness we had 2 drivers out all day today and the phone was ringing off the hook. And the crazy people are or in force...too many whack jobs to mention. We did 3000.00 today. Unfortunately there's only only 1 driver tomorrow and Saturday. Thank goodness this is not my Saturday to work.

We're leaving very early Saturday morning to head to Westfield NY to see the grands for Easter 🐇🐥 We're also celebrating the oldest grandson's big 13th birthday. Beard Popa (Bryan) decided it was time to get the boy his own rod and reel. It came today but unfortunately the starter tackle box kit was busted. (It's going to be replaced)
Very grateful for the middle daughter who is house/dog sitting for us. (We haven't seen them since Christmas)

Wishing everyone a wonderful Easter 🐇🐥
