Where's Spring At? Last Saturday Of April @ The MSC
Good morning sleepyheads! After our record heat and drought up here in the Upper LH Corner last year, I said I wouldn't/couldn't complain about a little cold and rain, but damn I'm ready for spring!

I know the voices in my head aren't real, but sometimes they have really good ideas....

Deserted MSC today.
Cold in Vacationland but at least the sun is out. Chores and dog walking are the order of the day.
Have a lovely evening, lurkers.

Afternoon BNers
Already 86! Too early, too soon.
I need to walk again but might not get far in these temps.

Good afternoon. The Mets pitched a no-hitter yesterday, the 2nd in franchise history, and they only had to use 5 pitchers to finish the game.
I should have found an alternate place for my daily walk. There's a youth soccer tournament at the park and both parking lots were full. I went to the other end of the park, which is across the street from a residential area, and there was a major traffic jam. There's a small lake there and the annual Dragon Boat Festival is today. I found a place to park a couple of blocks away and watched the dragon boat races while I walked around the lake.

Beautiful here at Ringville. Brunch with ladies from church then finished food shopping.
Mississippi Roast in the crockpot and some small red potatoes for dinner.
Sprayed weed killer and turf builder on our little patch of yard next to Calamity Cove.
Heading out for a few 40 lb bags of mulch and then my work is done.
I’ve got the 3 pack a day smoker voice again. Darn pollen. Just hope it doesn’t turn into what Kevin is still dealing with since Sunday…..not pollen related. I’m headed for a 4-day beach trip on Wednesday

Walked back to Bluebonnet. Made it without much trouble but still got bard on the way back. Gotta build up to it. At least, I am trying.

Hi there! I helped with town cleanup for 3 hours. My tendentious had flred up yesterday and sweeping sidewalks didn't help. Raking in the park, however, had my arm feeling better. The afternoon was spent on the river. What a beautiful day.
Mango beer is good tonight.

If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

So I was working the track meet today as the announcer. I got a message from my son in law.
MY YOUNGEST DAUGHTER GAVE BIRTH TO MY NEWEST GRAND DAUGHTER!
Faye Justine arrived a month and a half early. Only 4 lbs and 4 ozs and 17 inches long.
I announced it over the PA system and the crowd cheered!
Mother and child are doing fine.
