We just had one of the rainiest and coldest Aprils on record and today is April 37th.

Good morning. We had a severe thunderstorm warning last night but it missed us, not a drop of rain. Today it's sunny but a little cooler than it's been lately. It was 80 degrees the last 3 days, it's only supposed to be 75 today.

I won't be able to enjoy the weather. The Red Cross called the other day and said there's another platelet shortage so I have a 1:00 appointment to get needles stuck in both arms. Maybe I'll bring my iPod with me today so I can listen to some tunes for the 2+ hours I'll be there.

Aloha, peeps. Pretty spring day in Vacationland.

Had a wonderful dinner down in Boston last night with the keet, and my kid sister and her family. Picked up some real bagels, too, on the way home today, too. Neither of us feels like cooking so we're heading downtown to find somewhere to grab a bite and watch the Derby.

Today is the first rain during my girls beach weekend. That’s ok since we’ve been out and about since Wednesday night when we got here.

The ocean looks awesome with all of the whitecaps.

Soon time to watch the derby. We each have 3 horses picked from a bowl of the names. $1 per horse. Winner takes all. Big money big money.

My first in my life pink eye that arrived on Thursday morning is doing much better with my $50 eye drops.

Finally done with Mother's Day at the shop. There's at least 40 deliveries for Monday so now we're taking orders for Tuesday. Bryan came and picked me up and we had an early dinner at the local diner. We had both cars in town and all of a sudden I looked in my rearview mirror and Bryan had disappeared. When I got home I checked my phone and there was a message from my mother in law that the manager at the diner called them to say that he had left his phone on the table. At least he's home now and we're waiting for the Derby and having adult beverages.

Good Evening all. Pleasant day here…low/mid 60’s with tons of sunshine. Outside ALL day. A bit whipped now. Came in to see Penguins leading Rangers 4-1 after 1st period. Watched 2nd period & now it’s 4-4 after 2. Anyones game for sure.

Been on the go all day. Laundry, dishes, cooking Derby food, and making Derby drinks, grocery shopping, hockey watching, Derby watching (what a finish! )

No rain here, and it's SO needed here, and in New Mexico. About 87 sunny degrees today.

Almost time to wind down for the day. I'm pooped!!
