Cold and rainy here, but at least the crazy winds have died down. They're teasing us with the prospect of 70° on Sunday... if so, that will be the second time since last September that it's been that warm.

She-keet Nicole has been going back into the office (on a limited schedule) for about 3 weeks now and she's come down with COVID. She's fully vaccinated and boosted so the symptoms are minor, but still....

MrsSPH's brother and his wife and daughter all have it too... I'm not too surprised; they don't seem to take many precautions.

I have a feeling of déjà vu all over again...

Good after noon all. Busy last few days. Brother Chris's daughter was married on Friday. Big crowd, big celebration, great party.
So of course covid-19 had to crash it. A few members of the wedding party tested positive afterwards. I tested positive Tuesday
and am experiencing symptoms similar to a cold.

On the plus side. my new granddaughter is doing well, gaining weight, and should be home soon.

Not to be outdone, today brother Frank's daughter gave birth at 9:59 this morning to the latest edition to the family.
Elise weighed in at 7 lbs 1 oz and is 19 inches long. Within one year two of my brothers and I all got new granddaughters.
