Starting the summertime off with 100+ temps. Ugh

Good afternoon. It was a beautiful day for a stroll in the park, 80 degrees and the humidity is below 50%. That's rare for here, especially this time of year.

Roller girl was in the park - a tall, slim, very attractive young blonde woman on roller skates. She wasn't just skating, she was boogeying as she skated and she had some moves.

I wish! I was at work at 6:30 am, and have been non-stop since.

Was a good, but busy weekend. We visited Mom Saturday, grocery shopped, our favorite brewery, then to the best restaurant we'd always go to before DU games. They're closing at the end of the month, so we went one last time. They have an olive appetizer I love, and I asked for a few in my 'to-go' box from my dinner. I had gone to the bathroom, and when I came out I got a whole container of them. Thanks to E.
They have a very good vodka cocktail that I love, and after dinner our waiter (and he also bartends) grabbed my hand, took me behind the bar, and taught me how to make it! He also wrote down the actual recipe for it. Sure gonna miss that place.

Sunday was busy with laundry and packing for our trip to Oklahoma on Wednesday.

Hi there! I talked to 5 people today with one being my wife.

I forgot to mention something I saw at the baseball game Saturday night. There was a guy wearing a t-shirt that said BEER, BECAUSE NO GOOD STORY EVER STARTED WITH SALAD.

Roller girl is so much better than my viewing of a local in Bar Harbor. We were in a bayside park when I heard a sound like rolling a bag of beer cans. Into view came a guy on skates wearing a suit of cans. He was referred to as Can Man by another local.

Kevin and I are happy to have off to recover from our amazing Chesney weekend. It was great to hang with 4 BN friends!

I've only seen Chesney once, at Jones Beach. I was kind of surprised he played a 15,000 seat venue instead of a football stadium. Good show, he had 2 opening acts - Lady Antebellum (before they became Lady A and I didn't really care for them) and Miranda Lambert.

edit: I've actually seen him twice. He was the Saturday night headliner at the third annual Carolina Country Music Festival in 2017.
