Good Morning Linda.....BN'ers to come! Good for you Linda that the weekend starts early.
As of now I/we don't have any plans this weekend. Certain things depend upon certain things in a way. Regardless, will be close to home.
Enjoy Friday Eve everyone!!

Good morning Linda, and Ken!
FINALLY got some good news. The person who was the Unit Secretary (that left in March) is coming back in two weeks.

Guess the grass wasn't greener on the other side. That'll be a HUGE relief of no more sitting at the front desk except to fill in here and there!
We have another new person that's supposed to train on our phones/front desk as an occasional fill in. She keeps plopping down next to me without asking if I have time to do any training. Which I don't. She keeps going in drawers to find things, asking this and that, and It's VERY annoying. How about I tell YOU when I have time to have you sit with me.
Can't wait for this 3 day weekend.
Oh, and the Avalanche are having their celebration parade in downtown Denver today. Should be several thousand of people there. (I'll watch on my phone, or later on TV).

It's supposed to hit 90 today. I'm taking my 16-year-old granddaughter to Laurel Lake.
Real cold water and a sandy beach in the middle of the woods.

I've been MIA because my grandkids have been here since Monday. (I took the whole week off) The 2 boys are at a national Bible quizzing tournament that has been going on all week at the local Christian College (Mt Vernon Nazarene University) and will end on Saturday afternoon. So I have been taking care of the 3 girls and we have been having a blast! Today I have my youngest daughters bonus son too. We went to the beach

for a few hours this morning and came home so my oldest daughter could go back to the tournament.
We've been trying to get the boat launched but of course there's always something that needs done and right now we're in need of a new steering cable. The kids are very disappointed but we're making the best of a sad situation.

Afternoon BNers
We are under a flood warning but so far only hazy skies. We could use some rain but not flooding.

Hi there! We had a nice breakfast and lunch out. A diner we eat at often has 5$ cream pies. I got blueberry cream pie and brought most of it home. My lunch was so big. I couldn't finish the pie.
Tammy, I went to Chatauqua once without knowing I had a locked up cable. STUPID MOVE. I wasn't going far, so to turn the boat I would put the motor in reverse which would spin the boat. I would throttle forward at the right moment to go forward. This did not work well. I replaced the cable that week.
