For the majority of those around, but a still few remember the morning.

Many, many years ago I was at the Reno Hilton (Which is now the Grand Sierra Resort). After a long day and late night arrival, I woke up hungry in the morning and decided to order breakfast. I am not much of a breakfast eater but when I do go out or order room service, it is always Eggs Benedict. My favorite and don't try to over due it with other crap. Just the original Eggs Benedict.

I ordered room service and there was "Something Else" on the plate which I could not identify. This was back in the day where we used to have 5 pages by 9:00 AM in. I took a photo of it and posted it on BN but nobody could identify exactly what it was. I think I repeated that at least the next two years, maybe three.

I has been a few years since I have stayed there, and not sure if it was on the plate that time or not. I will be there Saturday for an evening before moving to my favorite little place in Reno (Eldorado Club) but will order breakfast Sunday morning just to see if it comes on the plate or not.

My dad and I had unidentified orbs on our veal cutlets. It was a (by our standards) a swanky ski chalet we found open in Vermont during the summer. Dad ate his first, assuring me it good.
He lied.
We decided it was from either end of a sheep or goat.
I.ve eaten worse.

I don't think anybody ever had a clue, and I surely wasn't going to taste it. Not even sure what it looked like after all these years. That must have been 2005 or 2006 time frame, if not before.

It would take somebody like SMLCHNG to be able to go back thru those old threads to find the photos....

I get the Vegas dates of the opening of M'Ville and the pool party at the Flamingo along with Dave falling down the stairs at M'ville trying to get to my bar stool in the back corner, Red Wines & Jeeps party, the fire hydrant accident with Al, and the San Remo Trannies in Vegas all mixed up with time lines in Reno.

In this meal envision a spherical mass an inch in diameter served on a fried egg, which topped a cutlet. It was fifty yeats ago and still a vivid memory.

Are you talking about the "gooey" part, out of lack of other terms which came to mind.........the part that makes you flip the egg one more time....
