Other than the garbage truck coming at 7:30 am, Monday's are OK.
Most working people are off the streets and I can go/do stuff with less traffic.
And thank you again to all you working people feeding into Social Security so that my checks keep coming...

Good morning. I don't mind Mondays, Saturdays and Sundays are the days I don't like. Those are the days all the non-retired people are out and about and every place I go is crowded. Although this time of year most places are crowded almost every day since vacationers have descended upon the coast.

My Bill kinda day continues... now I have black eye from where the 2X4 hit me. I haven't had a black eye in nearly 50 years. Back when I was in my twenties and playing softball and basketball in different rec leagues they weren't uncommon.

My last black eye was 22 years ago, the first year I played on the firm's softball team. I ran into the outfield fence chasing a fly ball, the metal pole between 2 sections of a chain link fence isn't very forgiving.

I just got an email about something that I ordered online. The email says it was shipped today and estimated delivery is Friday July 22. Unless they can time travel, I'd be willing to bet it won't be delivered on time.

I was on the ground unconscious so I don't remember. The next day at work one of the other guys on the team told me it looked like I caught it just before I hit the fence but the impact knocked it out of my glove. He also told me it would have been the 3rd out of the inning but after the ambulance came to take me to the ER, the other team scored 10 runs.
