Night Out TUESDAY @ the MSC
Good Morning Everyone!
Today is National Night Out Day. This is to honor our first responders, spread community awareness and promote the service of these folks.
There are quite a few gatherings in our local communities with lots of free activities for kids and families.

Good Morning Ladies! Hope you all have wonderful days....and kudos to those first responders. Such an important group in our communities.
It's also another BUFFETT SHOW DAY with the recipients being those in Bangor Maine. Lucky pholks up there. Hard to image a city of around 32 thousand getting a show but they have a full house tonight so they must draw them from all over the great state of Maine as well as the upper northeast.
Enjoy your 2nd day of August everybody!

Took the big dogs and dropped them off at the groomer. Now I'm having a cup of coffee and then I'll do a few chores. Then I'm going to vote and wait until it's time to go get the dogs.
Happy Tuesday everyone
Wish I was in Bangor today!

Good morning peoples. I'll be heading to the Verizon store in a little while to see if they have better luck than I did trying to sync my phone to my car.

Good morning/afternoon all.
Good luck with that, Larry. It'd be nice if everything worked the way it should/you wanted it to the first time!
Work is a LITTLE better today. I got to vent to one of my fellow Payroll people (she's more in charge than I am) and she's offered to keep an eye on the CCO that wants to do things her way. AND I found out that the VP that is supposed to sign all of these manual forms hadn't heard a thing about it. HA!!
She won't have anything to do with this many dang forms!
Got some back xrays taken yesterday to see if the pain I'm having is still from healing, or something else.
Today is boob squish day.
And another mid 90+ today. But humidity is low, so that helps.

The new phone is synced to my car, I can use Android Auto and Google Maps again.
Today is the trade deadline in major league baseball. The Yankees made a trade yesterday, they got a relief pitcher named Scott Effross from the Cubs. He played for the Pelicans for parts of 2 seasons. I was surprised when he made it to the major leagues, he was nothing special in the minors.

Afternoon BNers
Another game day. The LL softball girls play at 3 and Astros play at 7.
At least the girls don't play 9 innings.

Astros traded Odorizzi yesterday.

Re: Night Out TUESDAY @ the MSC
Greetings All.
I was seriously looking at going to this show this evening. Good thing I didn't as my wife is still away from a week ago after getting the call that her mother had taken a turn for the worse. She was supposed to come home this evening but extended it as it is an "any day" type of thing......... Trying to keep her spirit up, I told her that I need some notice as I wasn't aware as to how bad I can mess up a house in short of a period of time.

Re: Night Out TUESDAY @ the MSC
We have a new restaurant in town, Bubba's Fish Camp & Smokehouse. I don't care about the fish camp part, but I'm looking forward to trying the smokehouse part of the menu. Maybe they'll have some good brisket and pulled pork. It just opened last week so I'll wait a little while before I try it, let them iron out the kinks and get things running smoothly.

It's a nice day here, about 30° cooler than the day before yesterday. There's the possibility of a little rain tomorrow; fingers crossed, the yard could use it. Good luck with the squishin' MsMod (assuming it ain't some sort of theme at work); one of Mrs SPH's least favorite things.

I know the voices in my head aren't real, but sometimes they have really good ideas....

Re: Night Out TUESDAY @ the MSC
Hi there! I worked on my tan out fishing with an old childhood friend. I spent several hours this evening unpacking new light displays for Christmas. My beer reward was well earned,
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Re: Night Out TUESDAY @ the MSC
Our power has gone off twice since after 7pm. No reason. No rain, no storms, just goes off. Luckily not off very long but it sure is dark for those few minutes. And it screws up the cable...and in the middle of the Astros game.
Oh well....
