Be An Angel MONDAY @ the MSC

Hello Everyone!
Today is National Be An Angel Day (although I don't know what we can't be an angel everyday)....
On August 22nd, National Be an Angel Day encourages good deeds and kindness to others. By supporting those in need and inspiring others to kindness, we display an act of an angel here on earth.

The day also recognizes those who’ve been angels to us. Sometimes we have a terrible day. Whether its bad news or poor planning, we all have them. A kind word, a hug, or even a pleasant atmosphere makes a difference.
Other times, days, even weeks, can be devastating. A loss, illness, or overwhelming news takes the wind from our sails. Those angels provide comfort at a time when we need it most.
The same happens to the people around us. We don’t always know what others may be enduring. We can be an angel in big and small ways. Whether we know a person’s concerns or not, merely offering to join them for a meal may relieve their stress. Having someone to listen to often is something we need most.

Weekend came & went.
Saddle up, here we go again.
Today I have chosen to "Be an Angel" per Linda's request. I have chosen to be Los Angeles Angel Mike Trout. He makes close to $100,000 per day.

All the little Aggies moved back on campus and town this weekend. Classes start on Wednesday.

Good morning.
The Pelicans finally won a game yesterday. They have an infielder who's from Australia, he hit a home run. I think it brought his batting average above .170 for the season.
edit: I went online and checked the box score from yesterday's game, he's right at .170.

Good morning Linda, Ken, Michi, Janice, Larry, John, and BN!
Weekend was a zoo. Both Saturday and Sunday we were on the go - Saturday: visit my Mom, lunch, groceries, liquor store, dinner out with E's Mom, back to visit their long time friend, Roberta. Sunday grab some breakfast, short visit with E's Mom and we were off to the airport. Flights all good, but we waited about an hour for a wheelchair to take her through security and then to her gate. (Really bad knee). E and I had a beer while waiting for her to let us know she made it to the gate. Back home to make dinner and continue with laundry. I'm exhausted!
Back to the stupid place called work. Sigh.

Hi there! We were up at 5AM for scheduled surgery an hour away. We were to be there at 6:45 and made it with 15 minutes to spare.

YES! After surgery, Anne had an irritated eye (unrelated to surgery), so she contacted the optometrist to check it. He was in the second office a half an hour away. I hit a down pour on the way and pulled off till safe. It was an abrassion. What a day.

Ha! I tried drinking Stroh's when I was young. There were repercussions, so no more Stroh's.
