Morning BN'ers....
There is a local realtor who keeps calling us. We both just hang up on her. Late yesterday afternoon, she showed up at our front door indicating that she has somebody who would like to purchase our home. Gave us an offer which is WAY over what we feel even the inflated market value currently is. We told her that we discuss it and get back with her in about a week.
My wife said that we could counter offer and ask for even more, to offset the cost of over paying for a new house.

Good morning. It was raining when I went to bed last night, it was raining when I woke up this morning, it's still raining now. Maybe I'll stay indoors today.

Morning BNers
THE MICROWAVE GUY IS HERE!!
Finally.
Lowe's said we canceled. He said Lowe's didn't have the unit when he tried to pick it up last week. Let's throw everyone under the bus.
We didn't realize how much we used it until it was unplugged.
Oh goody. Of course, the old bolts don't match up with the new ones, so he is drilling holes in our cabinets.

Exactly....but the supposed "Interest and Offer" is extremely attractive. And like my wife said, we can surely attempt to take advantage of the situation, but then we would be committed to move forward if accepted.

The rain stopped but looking at the radar, there's another storm moving up the coast from Charleston. Maybe I'll go downstairs and see if my postal person has delivered the mail yet while there's a lull between storm fronts.

My great niece (the one that pitched in the softball world series) broke her leg yesterday. She was riding on a ATV with her boyfriend. He lost control, it tipped over and landed on her leg. She broke both bones. They lifeflighted her to Houston. After a wait, they finally did surgery late this morning. Surgeon said every thing went well and she will fully recovery.
Please keep her and her family in your thoughts.

That's terrible Molly, I hope she has a speedy recovery.
My mail wasn't delivered yet but instead of going back inside I decided to take a ride and try out a new restaurant, Bubba's Fish Camp & Smokehouse. When you walk into the place you can smell the smoker. It isn't overpowering but there's a smoky aroma. The pulled pork sandwich, they call it the Porky Pig, was really good and the beer was cold. The woman behind the bar gave good service but she has too many tattoos.

Do you even want to move? It sounds like you socialize with your current neighbors a pretty fair amount.

Penny...yes Mia. She is 14 so being young will help. We are also glad she got to go to the LLWS. Such a talented family. Hoping the littlest sister will continue the tradition.

Hi there! What a day. I can't go into it except that after a trip to the ER (Just a glitch) we had a short storm knock out the power. We called the power company. An automated voice said the power would be on by 6. They were wrong. I started the generator a 7.

Just a footnote to Mia's story, her Mom is a physical therapist. She will get all the therapy she needs..

Well, that's good.
As a teacher of rural kids, every year I saw there were multiple broken limbs from kids way too young running ATVs.
