The good news Bill is that The Eagle Pay (Social Security) is expected to get a substantial bump up for 2023 so keep your fingers crossed that eases the burdens.

Exterminator didn't show up yesterday so I needed to get up early to see what the mix up was.

Our almost record streak of not having a named tropical storm is over, one of the tropical depressions in the Atlantic is now Tropical Storm Danielle. But it's far enough out at sea that it's no threat to the east coast.

Just got back from Walgreens, Dollar Tree, Target and Big Lots. It is a toasty 97°. Ugh. Didn't buy much but at least I got through the stores.

Met the sweetest woman with her medical dog in Dollar Tree. The dog was her alert dog for diabetes. How cool!

Good afternoon from the road 90 miles out from Surfside Beach, SC.

We left Ringville at 6:30. Our ETA at SurfsideBeach is 6 pm. This is the longest 1-day road trip we’ve taken in our 39 yrs of marriage. Hopefully we make it to next years 40th.

We’ve flown to Myrtle beach (15 mins from where we’re heading this time) but the air fare was coming in close to $800. Even with gas prices, which are substantially lower here than in Pennsylvania, we’ll be way ahead financially.

But you would have been there hours and hours ago, and already had plenty of cocktails on the beach and soaking up the coastal vibe..........something are priceless.

Speaking of "Priceless".... wife and I decided to turn down the offer for our home, with no counter offer. We spent a lot of time working with a local builder on designing this house the way we wanted it, then watching it get build on the piece of land which we both wanted from the start. Just not willing to give it up yet.

Hi there! The money manager talked me into adding money to get a better return on money I'm not spending now.
An older couple visiting a diner, spotted my Shark Shack shirt that stands for Sistergoldenhair's bar in Jersey. They were from Jersey too.

Christmas starts early this year. I started to scenes with cutouts for kids' faces that will go in the holiday display.

It's great you have such a perfect home, Michi. I would move in a heartbeat, but Anne loves it here.

I never went to college, but E went to OSU, and was in the same dorm as Garth Brooks. So this is the team I root for the most, (but always hope that University of Colorado and Colorado State do well). Right now OSU is winning 51-22 over Central Michigan, almost ready to start the 4th quarter.



Glad you and the Mrs. are staying put, Michi.

Linda, the airfare for us to go to Oklahoma in November was $1400, so $800 seems like a bargain, and we ARE driving. But have a GREAT time!!

Hi Penny

Disease went to spinal tissue c2 to end. Radition in c2 and regiment of chemo will hopefully be good enough. Surgery right now is not an option.but the worse spot is in my Neck c2 hence shoulder and neck pain. Will be in hospital till I get 5 sessions of radiation
2 nd one tomorrow then Tuesday thanks to weekend and holiday.

Pysical therapy tomorrow to get me to walk.
