No coffee for me. Probably haven't had a drink of coffee since my Grandma gave me up cup of coffee with 4 tablespoons of Coffee Mate back in 1965
Obviously not the best for my health but my caffeine fix comes from Diet Coke.

Heading out tomorrow morning to Columbus Indiana for the 450 North Brewing Company Corn Maze Beerfest. 79 breweries in total serving. Sounds & looks pretty cool. 450 North features what they call "Slushy Beers" which Lynn absolutely loves. I would call them fruit "Smoothie Beers" as that's what they remind me of. They are of course pretty much all "Sours" which means I'll pass. I'll be having the IPA's most likely thank you very much! I guarantee our trunk will be PACKED with cans of the Slushy's for the ride home! Will have to avoid getting rear ended at ALL costs on the 5+ hr. drive!

Also in a mere coincidence the group Air Supply whom my fiance Lynn wanted to see this past summer here in Michigan & cancelled due to Covid is playing Friday night nearby the Columbus, so I scooped a couple tix for that. But I leaving that as a surprise for her.

My coffee is only occasionally, mostly one on the weekend. I like it, but I just don't drink much of it. When I do, it has to be flavored, cream, and sweet. E likes his black, and drinks it daily.

We had been under a tropical storm warning, it was just upgraded to a hurricane warning. That a-hole Ian was supposed to be weakening, not strengthening. At least if it is a hurricane when it gets here, it's only going to be a category 1.

When I was still working I used to drink coffee every day, several cups a day. I don't have it every day anymore and usually no more than 2 cups.

No, the cone is supposed to pass to the west. The Weather Channel said landfall could be somewhere near Charleston, about 90 miles +/- south of here.

That's just great, Larry. Hopefully Ian will behave better for the other parts of the country than it did with Florida. Been watching the news from there - just heartbreaking. Damn.

Hope it is as cool as advertised! Supposed to be a pleasant low 70's temp day.
In the middle they'll have a band set up. Should I request a few Buffett drinking songs? Also thinking SOME brewery has to be bring a Green Acres themed beer
