Good Morning Gang!
I find M&M's super addicting. The good news is I try not to find them very often, although I did grab a bag last weekend. Almond M&M's. And almonds are good for you, right? So I'm calling that my indulgence was a healthy one
Enjoy your Thursday everyone
Corona by day, Corona by night, any old time is just alright!
YES!! Surveyors are gone, and they had NO findings, so we're in the clear!
Our bigwigs decided just to stay at our other hospital, so as to not stir up the staff after the survey was done. Dammit! I dressed up nice, even tho it's my "Friday" and I was going to wear jeans cause I'm off tomorrow!
I FINALLY got started with getting my dad's estate settled at the bank. Listen all you old people! Get your finacial ducks in a row and make sure family is aware of your finances. My dad had lost mental acuity years before he died, and he had unclaimed property that was a loooooong process to retrieve.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.
(((((Bill))))) I know... I am so grateful that our Dad did a great job with accounts, records, etc., before he lost his mental state. I take care of the financial side of their stuff, and my sister takes care of the medical. It's been a challenge, but could have been MUCH worse.

Hi Molly!
Larry - you just had the surgery done today?
Yes. I've known I had a cataract for more than a year but the doctor told me as long as I could see well enough to drive it shouldn't be a problem. I could tell it was getting worse the last few months so I scheduled my annual eye exam, told the doctor it was getting worse and I wanted to get it taken care of. Between pre- and post-op stuff, I was there for more than 2 hours but the procedure only took about 10 minutes.

You lucked out with your dad, Penny. It took 11 months to get processed through the state treasury. A huge obstacle was my dad's lawyer died from Covid. His secretary still had acess to the records.

Yes, we sure did, Bill. He was a pretty organized guy, and had everything planned for their old age. Unfortunately they didn't plan on dementia in that old age. And I didn't have to do too much to get everything turned over to my Mom's name when he died.
