It's Friday!
It's payday for both Ringers!
It's the last day of full time employment for me!
It's a trifecta !

In a BIG way!
Good lineup of College Football tomorrow so will be keeping my on the T&V for that.
Will be heading to South Beach Miami next Thursday for a 4 night getaway so will use this weekend to get ducks in a row for that trip. If anyone has any tips on things to do, places to eat or drink in that area feel free to chime in.

Good morning peoples. I have my first post-op appointment with the cataract doctor later this morning, and I'm allowed to drive myself there.
Congrats on your almost retirement Linda.
Ken, no help here with things to do in Miami. I've been to a lot of places in Florida but Miami is not one of those places.

My life at the courthouse is over. Unless I get into some type of civil or criminal trouble. My plan is to stop in and visit former coworkers every now and then.

Afternoon BN'ers.....
Took a great trip by water over to Biloxi today. Fuel management system indicated 121 miles, which must have been accurate as we had fuel still on arrival. Watched the Blue Angels in Pensacola (Coffee break), quick lunch and fuel at LuLu's in Gulf Shores followed by a "Lesson Learned" crossing the Mobile Bay (We have done it in the past in the old boat, just hugging the northern end of they bay. Today we did the "Straight Shot").
Walking from the marina here at the Palace Casino, over to Golden Nugget Steakhouse.
Just enjoying a few beers while somebody has to "put the makeup on".......

The Hurricanes have a game tonight but they're playing on the west coast and game time isn't until 10:30 eastern time. Maybe I'll have a beer now instead of waiting for the game to start.

The party consisted of Kevin having a few sips of whiskey. He had his flu shot and covid booster at noon. I had my flu shot yesterday at the County’s expense and my booster right after dinner tonight. We are laying low. Plus my knee is still giving me trouble from my fall from last week.
