Good morning Bill. It's a beautiful day here too but I won't be fishing later. I'll probably go to the park and be walking instead.

Ugly day = a good day to head home from the beach.

I usually ride down with one group and home with the other since the one group always makes at least 2 shopping stops. I am not a shopper and when I’m heading home I just want to get there ASAP.

It was nice to have a 3 day work week to start the mew job.

I’ll have a 2nd short work week coming up since I need to have 2 orthopedic dr appts to follow up on my knee and wrist.

Already 81 and will go up a few more degrees later.

Not sure about the playoff game today. Last I saw, there is a chance of rain in NY. If it does rain, it is going to mess up the scheduling.

Lazy laundry day here. Not much else going on, although we had a guy come and give us an estimate for removing the 20 yr old gutter guards, clean the gutters and fo leaf clean up. We had a different company "clean" the roof this past week and after the gutters are done we'll have the house power washed.

I have secured someone to let the dogs out and feed them while we're away overnight in December and that's a load off my mind.

Our middle daughter is going to come out tomorrow to make us dinner. I pulled some of the birria taco beef out of the freezer and she's going to put together some sort of Mexican lasagna/casserole.

That's all I got for now.

There was a guy at the park wearing a t-shirt with a comic Santa Claus on the front and it said I ONLY DO IT FOR THE HO'S.

Evening, peeps. Beautiful autumn day in Vacationland. Wasted it with yard chores and football.

Will the Astros play today???
Depends on the rain.
The Phillies are WS bound.

Guess we will have to wait on a decision later.

Bryan pulled some of my homemade meatballs out of the freezer for spaghetti and meatballs and he made a favorite garlic gorgonzola salad.

They are going to try to start the game at 7:30/8:30....if it stops raining. It could continue to shower all night. Time will tell.

Putting a wrap on the 4 day weekend here in Miami Beach. Imagine it will be the last pool action I get until next May or June at the earliest.
No complaints weather wise. Did a good job of not getting fried by the sun. Did no excursions, just a bit of fine dining, hole in the wall pub n sports bar beers & mucho hanging at the hotel pool with a cocktail or 2 or 3 or…..few strolls ocean side & that’s bout it.
Back in the home state around 4 tomorrow. Excitement abounds although looking at temps of 75 when we arrive so got that going for me.

Instead of typing it again, I've copied my FB post before I fall asleep. And adding a few pictures.

What a long and busy weekend! I'm finally stopping. Saturday was our usual Mom visit ( there were some pumpkins decorated) grocery and liquor store shopping and unloading. A stop to donate 5 bags of my clothes. Started a load of laundry, then it was time to head to DU for some sustenance before the hockey game, and the 2022 championship banner raising. It was a great game, and DU won 3-2 in OT! We were also SO happy Oklahoma State beat Texas!! AND the Avalanche won, too!!!
Today we slept in a bit, I made breakfast, cleaned up dishes, ran the vacuum, did several loads of laundry, deep cleaned the bathroom (my back hasn't allowed), emptied dishwasher, then made dinner. Today a weather front went through and it was WINDY!! We were happy to see a dead tree finally blow over!!
Sorta ready for a crazy busy workday tomorrow. Now time for adult beverages and sleep early.
